My Points problems

I have been a member of My Points for awhile now as I greatly enjoy this program. I just recently downloaded the My Points Point Alert software (bonus 25 points for doing so). The problem is that it does not seem to be working properly. Today for the first time it reminded me to link through My Points in order to complete my order with Bookcloseouts.com. This is the first time that it has worked and in order to test it again, I visited several more sites and the alert did not pop up. I know that it's installed because it's in my toolbar - but it's black in color and I think that it should be red. When I click on it, it pops up, but then it shows an error message when I try to set it to automatically reward me points upon purchase. I just installed a new firewall/security program and I think that this is the problem. I emailed My Points and am waiting to hear from them. For those of you who also use this program, anyone else have any problems?

As well, I haven't been receiving many My Points opportunities in my box as of late. I have my profile set to receive a high volume of emails and I haven't received any in days. Anyone else having the same problem?

Sorry I can't help you with the Alert problem. I didn't download it onto this computer. As for the emails, I had that problem before and now also. It seems like it's feast or famine with them. Either you get a ton or you get none. I'm in the none phase right now.
