My Points Gift Cards

When you cash out in My Points for resturant gift cards, do the gift cards have expiration dates. I want to be sure to cash out in time for my October trip but don't want the cards to expire before I get to use them. I am specifically thinking about the Rainforest Cafe and Macaroni Grill certs. TIA!!!!

Hi!

I can't say specifically about Rainforest Cafe or Macaroni Grill, but I got all 5 of my gift cards from Mypoints to Red Lobster and none of them have an Expiration date on them.

People have reported an exp date of 1 year from the time of ordering for RFC GC. They're actually paper certs. Mine however had nothing filled in for the exp date. But since it arrived days before we left for our trip in January, it didn't matter.

I can't speak for Macaroni Grill.

Sometimes RFC has an expiration date, sometimes it doesn't. I have 4 GCs right now. 2 had 1 year expirations, 1 had nothing, and one was dated Jan. 2002 rather than 2003 - what a hassle that was to get a new one!!

I just got my RFC GC about 1 month back. States they expire 1 year from date issued and mine are dated 5-22-2003.
