MY PLAN - What do ya think...

Here is my plan that my DH and I put together.
There are 3 of us going:
Me - Jue (30ish)
My Identical Twin - Jude (also 30ish... obviously)
DH - Mark (the OAP at 36 but acts like he's 10)

DH and I have been quite a few times, but we are taking my (single ) sis with us, who has never been befor, in fact she's only ever been to Spain & Greece.
We are also going to try and get her married to a CM while we are there, so we get staff discount in future...lol.

Anyway this is the plan for 3 adults..who like to party...

Sun 28th Aug
Depart LGW @ 12:00 – Arrive SAN @16:15(local)
Pick up car and head for I-Drive / Hotel
Dinner & Drinks early to bed

Mon 29th Aug
Up early Denny’s for B/Fast arrive MK @ 08:15
MK all day – Leave before wishes
DTD / PI - Night Clubbing

Tue 30th Aug
Lazy Day – Up whenever, B/fast wherever
Water Park – BB
Leave mid afternoon, visit I-Drive shopping sight seeing
Diner at Boston Lobster Feast, few beers at Cricketers

Wed 31st Aug
Up early – B/fast then Universal prior to opening
Universal All Day
City Walk at night

Thu 1st Sep
Lazy Day – Up whenever, B/fast wherever
Water Park – TL
Leave mid afternoon, visit a Mall
Diner at Pirates Diner Adventure

Fri 2nd Sep
Up early B/Fast then IOA prior to opening
IOA until closing, then back to hotel
DTD / PI – Night Clubbing

Sat 3rd Sep
Lazy Day – Up whenever, B/fast wherever
Water Park – BB
Leave mid afternoon back to hotel or wherever
Downtown Orlando Night clubbing

Sun 4th Sep
Up early B/Fast then Epcot prior to opening
Rose & Crown for diner / watch Illuminations
Back to I-Drive

Mon 5th Sep
Lazy Day – Up whenever, B/fast wherever
Water Park – TL / Rent Air Boat
Diner on I-Drive

Tue 6th Sep
Up early – B/fast the KSC
Evening at City Walk

Wed 7th Sep
Up early B/Fast then MGM prior to opening
MGM All Day
DTD/PI – Night Clubbing

Thu 8th Sep
Lazy Day – Up whenever, B/fast wherever
Water Park or who knows
Probably shopping related
Night time unknown

Fri 9th Sep
Up early B/Fast then AK prior to opening
All Day at AK
DTD / PI Night Clubbing

Sat 10th Sep
Free Day…who knows

Sun 11th Sep
Get up and cry…coming home

So what do you think? As it's been a few years I know things have changed, my plans for Church St Station have been stopped but we will try near by in the Downtown Orlando area.

Im exhasted just reading about it (and jealous! - gosh those days before children when you could do what you liked.. get up when you liked AND go out in the evening!.. Im lamenting now!)

Yes, it sounds fun - its been years since I had an itinerary like that.. sigh
Can you really manage Dennys for bfast, MK all day and PI half the night on your first day?! Wow...

I am usually tucked up with me cocoa by 8.30 on the first day!

Did I miss something or are you missing out Wishes?? You've got to see it it's great!

I agree with Sammie though - after my first day in the park and jet lag I'm knackered by 8! In fact we now go to the mall on day one to take it easy and then hit the parks on day 2.

I also find it hard to be up past 8 on the first day.You could always still do MK but maybe give the clubbing a miss that night.


I must be the only one that doesn't have the energy to go out in an evening.We were hoping on our last trip to have a couple of nights out without the kids but we were to tired after the day.


Good luck if you manage to go out all those nights.

When you arrive the day before and could well be jetlagged. But maybe pre-children, I could have managed it

Thanks everyone...

I know MK seems a bit much on the first day ...but we just wanted to impress my sister from day one, and after years of showing her our holiday photos I don't think I can hold out long enough to let the jet-lag dissapear before our MK visit.

We love all the parks but I feel it’s only in MK where you get that butterfly in the stomache feeling of excitement , and we wanted to give Jude that feeling too.

I thought I would get a telling off for missing wishes. ..we may stay, again it was all part of the plan to blow my sister away with the whole experiance and the night at DTD/PI would round off the first day, but if we have had enough by 11pm we'll call it a night...

As most of you have said, not having to worry about kids means a little more flexability, so we'll go with the flow and if my sis wants to stay for wishes thats what we'll do...

I've talked my DH in to taking his laptop so I'll try and post trip reports and photos during the visit...Well I say I will, what I mean is I'll get him to do it...lol

It will give him something to do while Me and my sis spend hours in the bathroom getting ready for our nights on the tiles...lol

I couldn't do it either!!!
I was dead after 13 hours in MK this year.

sounds fun..
my only suggestion is to check when EMH hours are when you're there to be sure you're not in any parks that have EMH hours that day.
Although the end of August/beginning September is much much much better than mid-summer, it still will have people there and EMH will draw more people.
