I have three kids - 10, 8, and almost 2. Here is what I have packed for each of us:

5 outfits (5 day trip, and will do laundry once for spares) plus a couple of extras for the toddler. Outfits include underwear and socks.
Sleep clothes
One pair long pants
One lightweight waterproof jacket
One blanket per kid (the ones they sleep with every night)
Stuffed animals and toys for the window display at ASMu
Bathing suit
Hat
Water bottle
Sunglasses
Extra shoes (will wear Tevas most of the time)

I've also packed for the baby:
Water shoes (no Tevas for her!)
A pack-n-play sheet
Safety harness (leash thing)
Sling
Pull-ups
Plastic toilet seat cover (makes the hole smaller)

I've also packed in general:
Squeeze breeze
Night Light
Meds (liquid and swallowable Ibuprofen, Sudafed, and Dramamine, and asthma inhalers all around.)
Camera and film

My mom will be bringing her video camera

What am I missing?

Oh! Sunscreen! Going to pack it now. Anything else?

Do you have a medicine kit? I always bring children's and adult's motrin, immodium, cough medicine etc. On our first trip in'97 my DS had terrible ear pain after flying and we ended up paying a fortune for motrin at the resort.

BAndaids can come in handy, and also baggies. they might come in handy for snacks for the little one. have a great time!

for popping ears on airplane! It especially hard on the little ones!

Ziploc bags (so many uses)! Extra film and batteries for camera and camcorder - we always use more than we think we will. Extra bathing suits if you have them - putting a wet one on is no fun! Fanny packs for kids with your name, room number, cell phone number in case they get lost - for the little one write the info in pen under her shirt sleeve. Our friends do this and I thought it was a good idea. Have a great time!!!

oh my...there's so much to think of! We always bring a night light, wet-ones wipes for cleaning dirty hands before we eat anything....disposable cameras for the kids, extra film and batteries for my camera (learned THAT lesson the hard way....) water bottles, sample sized laundry detergent and dryer sheets ('cause I'm frugal!) and the one thing we hope we never need...we make sure to bring our health insurance cards! We LOVE 2 way radios, (though we never thought we'd use them....we're converts now!) oh- and rain ponchos. Must have rain ponchos. They fold up teeny-tiny and fit into the back pack for those unexpected showers that Florida is so famous for. We found that by bringing our own, (ANY COLOR BUT YELLOW), we could pick each other out of the crowd. It's hard to follow the right person when you're going thru a sea of hooded, mickey-backed yellow people!

How about:

Bandaids
Antibiotic ointment
Insulated Quart Jug for Water (I like the ones with the shoulder strap)
Sunscreen
Lip Balm (with sunscreen)
Thermometer (we bring the Thermoscan for ear readings)
Zip Lock Bags were a very good idea - different sizes hold everything from wet clothing to snacks
We bring our windjackets that fold into a small convenient carry pouch (the size of a pocket)
Visors or Hats
Sunglasses for everyone - not cheapo ones, plus leashes for the glasses
Fanny packs for Mom & Dad
School IDs for all kids
Cell Phone (each kid has the number printed on a laminated card they keep in their pockets)
Butterfly bandages (for blisters on the feet)
Vasiline (for those blisters)
Chewable Tylenol & Advil to take into the park (easier than liquids)
Spare batteries for the camcorder, the camera, and the walkie-talkies
Disposable toilet seat covers (you can buy them at any drug store - very cheap, too!)
Travel tissue packs
Wetnaps individually wrapped antibacterial variety (the cheapest are at Wal-Mart)
Q-Tips in a travel soap dish (keeps them dry)
Skin So Soft for bug repellant and it also is great with sunburns - we like the pump bottle
Pepto Bismal, Zantac, & Kaopectate Chewables for all those G-I problems

And believe it or not, I think that's about it!

I never pack til the night before LOL. Then I am usually forget something that I have to but while I am there. But oh well, thats half the fun of a vacation to me!! :p

I make ID tags for my kids - just type their names, and your resort info (maybe a cell no. if you carry it) onto a sturdy piece of paper (I use note cards), and laminate it by wrapping with packing tape. I then cut it down to a very small size - maybe 1" long by 1/4" tall, and safety pin it to the inside hem of each child's shirt. I even did this when I sent my 8 yo to DC with my in-laws (I was sure they would leave her somewhere)! Hope you never need to have this identification on your child, but crowds can overwhelm little ones and they can become lost!
Have a safe trip.
