Your list looks pretty good! I'm leaving in 13 days myself! :)

What about a book to read and your iPod or CD player to listen to music while on the plane? Or a portable DVD player? Not sure if you want or need those things, but I find them helpful when flying (waits in the airport and time on the plane), and also I need a book to read while lounging at the pool. :goodvibes (Oh, noise canceling headphones if you want, too.)

Also, don't forget a hat or two. Like sunscreen and sunglasses, I think a hat is indispensable.

I would also bring some hand sanitizer. I keep it in my bag and use it regularly.

If going to a water park, I'd bring water shoes.

You also might want to bring a small extension cord in case an outlet isn't accessible enough for you to plug in your cell phone charger or battery charger.

That's all I can think of for you to consider. Have a wonderful trip! :cool1:

Dryer sheets (bounce?) - i see you have tide packs so I assume you plan to do some washing :)

I always throw a large size garbage bag in too to put dirty clothes in in the hotel and then use that to haul them to the washer.

I can't live without my Tide stick for spills...but I have a 5 year old too :)

Your list looks good.

We check-in to AKV on Sunday, then switch over to BCV on Monday for 9 nights. I am going to pull out our suitcases today to start packing.

We also always bring along a pair of scissors (we drive, I'm not sure if you can do that if you fly) to open all of the souvenir packages that we buy.

We're also going to bring some bug spray because DD has had a terrible time wtih bug bites this summer.

Ugh unfortunatly I cant do anything on a plane except sit there and stare out a window or sleep  ..motion sickness, even after taking meds...

However, I do plan on bringing my Harry Potter Book 6..yes Im still reading # 6! :scared1: :lmao:

As for hats, I cant do hats, they give me headaches

I doubt we are doing the water parks, we MIGHT. We dont have the Water Park n More opition, I figured we would add it on once we got there the day of we do a water park. But even with that, I will just wear my crocs. I dont do the slides and stuff at them. I'll do the wave pool and thats about it. DH will go off and do all the rides while I take in some sun.:beach:

As for extension cord, DH plans on bringing his surge protector (it has more then enough slots for everything plugged in all at once), but I will add it on my list, so neither of us forgets it ;) :rotfl:

Thanks for the tips! Hope you have a great vacation to. Where are you staying? We're staying at AKL.

Thanks for the scissors idea..we really dont need scissors...but you did remind me to add toenail clippers. You can take scissors with you when you fly..as long as it goes in your checked luggage and not your carry on. Thanks and have a great trip!

Actually the tide-to-go is the stick I was talking about (DH is a messy eater :lmao: and just incase, you never know when I might get ice cream from a mickey bar on me :lmao: ). We probably will do some washing, havent figured it out yet, but I figured we can just buy the laundry detergent there instead of buying some. According to allears, they have laundry detergent there for $1.00, which is what it would probably be here. I'll have to check down the travel aisle at walmart and see what they have.

Thanks for the reminder about dryer sheets! I need to stick a couple in my luggage soon to help with any unwanted smells :rotfl: I havent touched my luggage in a yr..so yea..it probably stinks! Also thanks for the reminder about laundry bags.

I will also be packing some rain ponchos, a small flashlight and some snacks for the plane.

T

I would bring a mini flashlight, It was in the passporter packing list last time we went so we bought one and did we get some good use out of it, I also recemend someething so you avoid heat rash or chaffing of the legs either body glide or monistat has a product called anti leg chafting gel that works well

I bring a night light for the resort room, also an over-the-door hook for my bathrobe, and a holder for the toothbrushes in the bathroom. All cheap ones from the dollar store. Did you remember some snacks?

I know keys, wallet, money, cell phone, tickets, etc are already on your list but right before I leave I always do a double check for those things. Sometimes when I'm going on a trip I'll try and remember all these little things (sunblock, hair ties, etc) but then I realize I forgot one of the important things (tickets, money, etc)! Plus, as long as you have those things, the others can be replaced. Oh and chargers for your phones, I've forgotten those before. Hope the last 14 days go by fast and that you have a wonderful trip!

we use the pop up laundry hampers you can get at the dollar store. they are mesh and round. they worked really well and we would throw it in the bathroom.

if you are driving, don't forget change for the tolls.

I have a nice pair of nike sandals.. here they are:

http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page.jsp?PRODUCT<>prd_id=845524889478707

I can usually walk around quite a bit in them and my feet usually don't hurt. I wear sandals constantly in the summer and I can take these on shopping trips (which last quite a few hours) and to the pool and they have been quite reliable.

But I wouldn't recommend sandals at all for all day use or heavy touring. I might wear them for a morning in a park when a break is planned in the afternoon, but it's still best to find some kind of shoes to wear in disney. I only brought sandals on my HS senior trip and on NYE day in disney and I was sorely regretting not having other options. But.. like I said.. as long as you weren't planning on wearing them for a long, long day those would be a nice option :goodvibes

i've never worn crocs, i have size 10 feet, so for a woman, i think they would look horrible on me and i worry aobut the comfort.

i really love the 'nicer' flip flops or sandals. heck, i bought a pair of DKNY flip flops- they have a nice thick cloth/stretchy strap for $20 at ross that were normally $35 or $40. they are my favorite. don't hurt my feet at all, have good cushion considering they are flops. i also had another pair last trip that were nicer flip flops. everytime i tried to wear the cheap kind, i had problems.
