My "not such a dream come true" vacation

Heather, I'm sorry that your trip didn't turn out better. FWIW, my DH swore up and down after the first time he pulled our camper from Chicago to WDW that he would never do it again. We've been 4 times since then and have reservations at FW for two more trips in the next 6 months. Our first trip wasn't as ill fated as yours, but never say never. We find that it is WAY more convenient to travel with all our stuff and stay in the camper than it is to fly, lug suitcases and stay at a hotel.

So sorry for your loss. I understand Dh not wanting to tow again. My neighbor ordered a new class A 38 ft. RV. On his first trip with grandkids he was hit by a teenager. Everyone was fine but he has never taken it out again. It has sat there unused for I think 5 years now. Glad the boys enjoyed themselves. The first time my DD saw Piglet, the look on her face made me tear up.

:grouphug: I am so sorry for your loss and the incident with the drunk driver. I am very happy to hear that your were not injuried in the accident. Best wishes to your entire family.:grouphug:
