Hi there,
Like you all, I too like to scrapbook, but I find it to be very time consuming and costly. I have since discovered a method that works best for me, and I really like the end results. I have taken a picture album ( the ones with the black honeycomb pages, not the paper pages) that I can easily slip 2 4x6 prints on each page. I like to digi scrap too, so on each individual 4x6 print, I can add a border, a graphic, a date, or even journaling. The best part is, that I can easily remove the picture from the pocket if need be. When I get two side by side pages done, they look just like an 8x8 layout, and I love it.
Well anyay, I just finished a "family" album, Birthdays, Holidays, Bridal Shower, and small vacations.
Now my dilema is this...... Most vacations that we take are either to Disney, or on Cruises. Those of you that have been on cruises know that most of the pictures that you buy from the cruiseline rarely come in a 4x6 print.
( And you know we always need to buy the 8x10 of the formal night picture)
So what do you do with you larger prints that don't fit in your photo books. (Obviously this question is geared more towards people who do not use a 12x12 album)
I have started an 8 1/2 x 11 Disney Scrapbook, ( I only have 2 trips scrapped in it, but it took me FOREVER) But now that I enjoy my new way of putting my pictures together, I don't feel like finishing the 8 1/2 x 11, because the book is not the same size as my new one and the styles don't "match" (I know thats crazy, but when my books are lined up on the shelf, I'd like them all to match) I haven't started any cruise albums yet, but am I destined to HAVE to do them in 8 1/2 by 11 form just so our larger pictures can fit in?
(12 x 12 are not an option for me as I do not like to work that large)
Any suggestions?
