My new Scrapbook storage

For the last few years, I've had my own space in the end of our tiny kitchen, where one should have a table, and limited my supplies to what would fit in the space (not much.) This is that space:

Left end

right end

bookcase on top of right end

With so many scrapbook stores closing, I really felt the need to acquire what it seems like the whole world has - a STASH! So, I started looking for spare space, a hot commodity in our little townhouse.

First, I decided to put bins in the "book case" in the diningroom (on sale at K-mart ~6.00 for two)

After CKC, it was obvious even that addition wasn't sufficient. So, I emptied out part of the hall closet.

My new nesties live on a magnetic heat vent cover, currently on the front of the fridge. Any other ideas where I could hang them?

Now, I have space for visiting scrappers When can you come over?

Very nice. I wish I had a dedicated space. Every time I'm ready to start working I pull it all out onto the dining room table. And it stays out for several weeks at a time, usually until we have company coming over.

Linda It looks wonderful. Space is such a HUGE issue in my house too. I wish someone had told me how much space kids took up before I built the house and had them.

4 feet of scrapbooks went upstairs to the library. Another 4 feet of scrapbooks live beneath the console table in the livingroom. 2 feet of 8x8 scrapbooks live on the floor under the glass top coffee table. Smaller scrapbooks live in a bookrack and two baskets on top of the console table. The really lumpy ones are on top of the coffee table.

I think i'm going to have to start burning the older ones in the outdoor fireplace. We're out of room.

Your space is amazingly organized. I need your services in my scrappng room! I have been working on it, and this week I even gave as gifts items that I have made. Normally I hold onto my treasures.
