My new mobile phone

I've just been told that the phone I'll be getting with my new job is a Motorola Ti 280. I've just had a look on their website and it looks quite good - a bit ugly, but loads of features and it's tri-band which could come in handy. Just need to work out a way of getting them to give dh the same model and we're away!

....... I don't know this particular phone but it sounds good I'm happy with my Vodaphone Trium ...... only one I've had!

The Motorola T280 is an excellent phone. The menu system is like the Nokia 5110, very user friendly and much better than the T260. When you go to the states the band automatically changes to 1900 and works fine in Florida.

It turned up on Tuesday and for the first time I've actually assimilated all the features of a mobile phone - I've never needed to bother before as I've only ever used one to make the odd call. Thanks for the info, Tom. Hopefully I won't get any grief from Vodafone Corporate when I try to activate it for international roaming

Dh reckons he's worked out a cunning plan for getting his current phone upgraded. I've threatened him with death if it involves anything such as reversing the car over it
