My nerves are on edge; Need calming thoughts!

We are getting hit with some pretty heavy thunderstorms right now and to top it all off we are in a tornado warning. The weathermen keep hammering away on what to do in case a tornado strikes. DH is out driving in this mess. And as if that wasn't bad enough, I haven't been able to reach my dad all day long. DH did go by there after lunch and he said he wasn't there and it appeared that he slept in his bed last night. I asked him if the empty container was still on the door. He said what container. So, I guess he has been home and back out again. So with all of this right now, I am about ready to scream. Please send me some calming thoughts! I am trying to get all my cooking done for tomorrow.

If you are being hit by violent thunderstorms, the last place you want to be is on a phone or a computer! I know you want some calming thoughts, but at what risk?
I'm in the Tampa area, so I know how violent our thunderstorms can be and the lightning.....!

Take things one step at a time and it will be fine.

and GET OFF THE COMPUTER! You should unplug it even in a severe electrical storm (or so I've been told)

Yes, we have tornado warnings here as well. We just had some thunder that shook our house. My 18 year old son is out in this....I keep looking out the window as I type, hopefully he'll pull up any minute
