Seeing those pics of POFQ got me excited & I still have 3 months to go.
Cute pics of the girls & your Dismeet over the weekend. That looks like a great place for the kids. Yes that gecko does look like he has 2 heads!!
MeMom no hiding behind any trees!!
Oh yes, there will be hiding!

I will do the hugging, for the sake of everyone's warped humor in seeing me hug a tree, but I will hide the flab while doing so.
I'm happy to be able to say we are leaving
next week!!!
I'll cross my fingers for a good upcoming Orlando weather report!
I hope you guys have a wonderful time and I wish I could be there with you, the meet sounds like so much fun!

I'll just keep counting down the days until my vacation and I'm sure it will be here right on time.
I love your pictures from Saratoga, brings back such wonderful memories of our vacations there! We're actually not going to be at Saratoga this upcoming trip, because we are saving up points for a big family vacation next year. We're staying at POR, which I love, but part of me will really miss Saratoga (and those extra big rooms!)
I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day!
I'll look at the ten day forecasts from here on out, but whatever it is, it is. We'll deal with anything and work around any inconveniences. It won't be miserably hot or miserably cold, and if it rains, it won't the the entire time, so whatever happens happens.

Hopefully, it will be nice. We've never had a trip ruined by weather.
It's nice to have Disney homes, places where we feel comfortable. We seem to have a sense of pride and ownership in those places, and we want others to like them, too. I think that's kind of neat.
Gosh I LOVED the pics of the children's museum. I do that too...everything gets compared to disney.....especially how places load and unload rides, or how they manage crowds. No one lives up to disney standards.
True that. I do want to try to go to Dollywood within the next year or two, and I already know I will be making Disney comparisons.
Good Tuesday morning! One day closer to WDW!!!

You are wrong about doctors. It does not take intelligence but you must be a "glutton for punishment"

I think being a teacher is the most honorable profession. It takes a special person to teach children everyday.
I am ready for another busy day today. I cannot wait to sit on the GF beach and watch my monorail go by.

One of my favorite things about staying there last time was sitting on the beach watching the monorail and hearing the ferry. I can hear it now....
When Dave and Kathy had their webcam up, I would have it on in the background as I went about my chores, and I loved hearing the sounds of the boats. I would peek in and see palm trees swaying and people walking by and the sounds of kids having fun - so awesome! We will be there soon.
It takes a tremendous amount of patience to be a teacher these days. Kids are so into all of the video and technology stuff that teaching is pretty boring sometimes. I try to make what I can interesting and fun, but sometimes, you just a learn a skill for what it is - it's something you have to know or memoriaze or whatever, and there's not a lot of ways to make it fun. We're having fun with our plants unit right now. There are plenty of opportunities for hands-on activities, so they are into it.

In trip news, we got our Magical Express tags yesterday!
We are leaving at the end of
next week.
Thanks
VAisforDisneyLvrs for the cool Nemo card. Most likely, the Nemo on the front will get cut out and will find a home somewhere in my classroom eventually.
