You know you want to!
See, I knew you would want to play along!
Wanting to and
being willing to for the sake of the fun of the report are two different thing.
Yes, I will find a palm tree at MCO, and if the security guards are not close enough that I fear them taking me away to the funny farm,
I will hug a tree,
or at least
high five with one of their palms.
HI all!
Gosh 12 snow days is terrible.....we had 5 last year and the high school near us had school on Saturdays all through March and April. It was crazy. Can you imagine only have one day off for 5 weeks in a row???? I would go.
Anyway, I hope it all works out. I loved your kiss the tiles and hug the palm trees idea. I havent been to Disney since Nov 2009 and I feel like I am finally coming home! I can't believe I am missing you guys by a few days. I have been sewing tee shirts for our surprise trip and Sarah still has no clue we are going...lol! My friend and her daughter are going with us...did you know that...and so we are thinking of surprising them in stages. They won't actually know we are going to disney and staying there until we get in line for ME. And my other friend that sews too will be there with her family and her best friend is going too...it should be really fun. The best part is we are all staying at Kidani. So those are the plans so far! Thanks for asking! I just can't wait for warmth!!!!!
I can't even imagine doing the Saturday thing here. So many of our high schoolers have jobs that they
have to have to make it. I can see that causing a huge outrage here.
I have been so excited about your trip!

I can't wait to see the girls' expressions when they find out, and I know you're just going to have an awesome and very treasured time together. Staying at Kidani makes it just fabulous, too!

Yesterday, Jill and the girls came up, and we went out to Murfreesboro to a children's Discovery Center. I had heard of it, but had never been to it. It's a great place to spend time with your kids doing a wide variety of activities. I'd love to take my school kids there, but since it is out of the county, I don't know if they would let us go. I am going to check, though, because our kids would have a blast there.
We met
stasieki and her girls there. They were going to a birthday party and would be meeting us out in the play area a little later.
Here are some pictures of our day.
The first stop was a big water play area.
They stayed there for several minutes, and we had to talk them into going to explore the rest of the place.
We went around to Tiny Town.
Upon arriving at the Tiny Town Post Office, I knew which stamps I would be buying.
I immediately thought of the Winnie the Pooh treehouse.
Bella thought it was funny to look through the holes on the treehouse balcony.
Some thoughts on child play.
Brooklynn delivering Mickey mail.
The stamps she sold me.
Abby came out of the party and joined Brooklynn.
Brooklynn at the hardware store.
The girls in the music shop.
Bella and Ellie.
Rocking animals.
Bella was a little unsure of these. She didn't try to do much rocking unless I was holding her.
There was a dig site, but the rocks in it were not as good and clean as the ones in Dinoland.
They enjoyed it, though.
This fella was camped out by the dig site.
