I am super excited to stay at Pop. This is our last time we can stay there as a party of five, so it will be fun! Plus Hannah knows she has stayed there, but since she was only 16 months old she does not remember. Also I like the idea of knowing the lay of the land when you arrive in the evening and want to just relax and eat... and Pop would provide me with that type of experience. The other All Stars would not... but I need to call and get the room now that we bought our flights!

I'm so happy with our times! I looked at flights a few days ago and was hoping we'd get those!

Our neighborhood looks a lot like Meg's right now I think we have a little over a foot of snow. I'll take some pictures in the morning.

We've been to all of those places except Via Napoli. You have booked a lot of good eating!

When the flights arrive early and leave late, it's the perfect set-up.

I haven't had a chance to discuss it with Jill, but I did send her an e-mail message with some choices. Right now, I am leaning more toward the shorter July trip, still seeing 4th of July fireworks, still getting to do our 'Ohana dinner with Wigd and Shocker and Katie, cutting a couple nights off of that trip, and then going for the 40th Magic Kingdom anniversary/Jill's birthday, maybe just having it be a Jill, Brooklynn, and me trip to make things easier, have some big girl time with Brook, and cut costs. I don't know what Jill will want to do, though.

Maybe there will be a time in the future that you guys can try out the Art of Animation Suites, too. Those will probably be great for your family. We are excited about trying them out in a couple of years.

It's been a couple of years since we have stayed at an All-Star resort. I want to go to Movies again after the renovate, because the room we had was a little worn. The girls would love the icons, though, and Brooklynn really was too little to remember it. I really like Music, too. It's pretty at Christmas, and the two times we have stayed there were very good experiences.

We've gone to Crystal Palace for lunch every single trip so that's become a tradition My mom and I both agree on all of our repeats, except she doesn't like Chef Mickey's very much, so I told her to pick a new one that she wants to go to and she picked Via Napoli. We like to try at least two new ones every trip. Last year it was Coral Reef(Mom's choice) and 1900 Park Fare(My choice).

I agree And the late flight isn't so late that I'll be exhausted the next day. I'll be home from the airport between 9:30 and 10:00 and I never go to bed on a school night until around 11:30 anyway. I had a flight once that got back around midnight and I had to get up for school the next day

Well, barring ant objection from my brother or sister I think our dates will be July 1-8 or 9. We're going to drive to save $$ on airplane tickets & will arrive the 2nd. I think we'll take a day for Harry Potter, too.

I looked at room rates, and it looks like it'll be better to rent points for a studio, so I think that's what we will do. We'd rent points from my aunt so I need to ask her about those this week. I seem to remember AKL and BWV being a good # of points (good as in less $ than a value room).

How about if we shoot for the 6th for that 'Ohana dinner? That is the day Anita and Marc arrive, and it looks like we may be leaving on the 7th instead of the 9th to accomodate that wedding. Trent will have to leave on Thursday, so he would still be there for the Wednesday evening meal, too. Let's just pencil in that day, and I'm going to make the ADR. If we have to change/cancel it, then so be it, but maybe it will work out.

My houseful of people is slowly dwindling away. Jill, John, and Ben-dog left Sunday night. Trent and Tanya left a few hours ago. I've seen the last of Jarvis, Spencer, and Brandon until I don't really know when. The girls are still here. Bella is taking a nap, and Brooklynn is watching a Mickey Mouse Halloween Sing-Along video. She watches it often throughout the year and never seems to care if it is in season or not. Drew moves quietly in and out of the house, but he's not a socializer. The cat has been a nervous wreck since the minute he spied Ben on Saturday, and even though Ben has been gone, the cat is still on edge because the girls are still here. He's not particularly fond of anyone under four feet tall. Poor guy.

Trip news for February - I am ready for it to be here.

Trip news for July - I think we are going to shorten by a couple of days to get back for Spencer's wedding. In doing that, however, we can plan to go in October for a long weekend. Jill's birthday is October 5th, and the Magic Kingdom's birthday is October 1st. We could get pins that say 'We're Celebrating Magic Kingdom's Birthday!'

That's all the planning or tossing around of ideas that has been done for now. I'm sure there will be much discussion of ideas in the next few weeks as we make final decisions about the July and October ideas. February/March is pretty much set. Gotta pay it off in about two weeks. Yikes!

We arrive on the 26th - morning flight, so we'll be there by early lunchtime. We leave on the 2nd in the evening.

What are your dates? We'll be at Pop.

What I hope to do is have one big 'meet up' for all who are there rather than try to see different people at lots of places. It's easier to do it like that and not spend so much time trying to make appointments and then sometimes missing them or missing other things.

How does the night of the 26th sound for all of you guys who are going to be there? That'll be our travel day, so an early night leaving the parks and going back to the room will be good for us. We can meet at a central location, or you can all come over to Pop, or DTD, or just whatever works for the majority. It might be best to plan on meeting at a resort or outside a park.

I may be there until Oct 2 or 3rd if I do my now annual go before the annual conference trip. The 5k ??? HMMMMMM Maybe. That would be great if I could see you then. Free Dining??? I may need to take care of that sooner rather than later.
