I haven't stayed at Vistana but Jamie used to spend a week there every summer with her Dad's family. They have a few time share weeks there. She LOVES Vistana! It's not too far from DTD, but you would definately need a car! There used to be tons of activies for kids and several pools on the property. Lots of room, you can get one and two bedroom condos I know. I've seen some pretty good rates there considering how much room there is. Your whole family could share one easily I would think!
Never mind on that one then. I would want one that was within walking distance of DTD, because I am fairly sure we will be flying on the Christmas trip. We may go check it out this summer, though, because we will be driving in July.
I'm not ruling it out for future stays, though.
Hugs and prayers going out for all who need them.
I'm glad Jill is getting her snow day. We are on an "iffy" line here as well for tomorrow night and Tuesday. I really don't want any more days off for snow. We already lost a workday and next to go would be President's Day. After that it's Saturday...not fun!
I found the Disney dishes at Target yesterday. I got two bowls and a cup each of Mickey, Tink, and Ursula.
I wish they allowed point transfers in DVC. That way I could book that OKW grand villa for all of you at 11 months. I hope it all works out!
We were on the line, but we did get some. The south side of Nashville has more than we do.
You'll have to show me a picture of your purchases. I am staying out of stores right now. Nothing but groceries and gas for me right now.
It will be cool if we get to stay at OKW. That's one that has been high on my list for a long time, and it would be fun to have a big room to hang out in with
Wigd and
Shocker and crew. Harper will be there, so the girls could play together.
I just remembered, we stayed in a really nice 2 bedroom suite at Caribe Royale which is near Vistana. They're right next door to Buena Vista Suites which is sort of a sister property. It looks nice also. They're only a couple of miles from DTD and also close to the Premium Outlet Mall.
We'll keep listening to your expertise on all of this in the months ahead. Of course, we will always want to stay on Disney property, but the day may come when the cost just doesn't allow that for every night of every trip. It may be that we try a DTD resort one time at least for a night or two just to see how that works out. We may end up liking it.
My big girl
Bella loves "Goof"
I love this picture of my sweet girl!

Makes me miss her even more.
Bella is so sweet saying 'Goof'. It comes out kind of like 'Gyewf'.
Brooklynn is just GORGEOUS in that photo of her from Dumbo!
Enjoy your day off tomorrow!
I am so glad Jill got a day off. She needs more down time. From the looks of things, she'll be getting more than one day, too.
Your sweet girls are too cute.
They have extra nice smiles when we are in Disney World.
all caught up again.
Your Christmas looked so nice.
Will miss you in October by 2 weeks. Might be there for the 4th of July. Waiting for my brother to get back to me. My nephew is graduation high school and so it will be his gift if we go down. Just nervous of the crowds.
U r lucky going so soon. I wish I was.
Loving the pics. Thanks for the pics of the update at POP.
If you're there on the 4th, we'll probably be on the Poly beach. It is a very crowded time, and it is hot, too, but still fun.
Nice pics Jill. Enjoy your snow day tomorrow!!
I'm not only glad she gets the day off, but the girls get to sleep in and just have a fun hang out day at home.
Praying for Cara's Dad
Jillgot pics of Chip and Dale and a cute giraffe for me!!! Happy snow day!!!
Brooklynn chose Garden Grill for one of our summer meals, so we'll get to see more of Chip and Dale there, too.
Those are some great parade and safari photos! I always get animals from their less than personable side!!! Great Lion photo, though!
Looking forward to seeing more!
That was a good lion picture.
Praying!
Glad you got your snow day! MeMom, I hope you get one too! Jackie? Are you getting one?
We had some snow yesterday, but it didn't stick. The air temperature isn't bad, but the wind---BRRR! Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer though.
Great picture of that elusive lion Jill! And your girls, looking adorable, as always! Looking forward to the videos.
ETA: MeMom, I sent you a text this evening - at least the number I last had for you - when is the Small World meet again?
I am having a snow day. They say driving is treacherous right now, so they are asking people to please stay home if they can. Not a problem. I am quite happy right here.
I texted back. Wonder why it didn't go through? Lost out there in the snow somewhere?

You should have a text that says
'March 1 - a little after park opening', or something close to that.
Our snow is nothing like what you guys get, but it's a big thing for us. It's an even bigger thing for our GA and AL friends.
What cute pictures of Brooklyn, Jill!
I wish I didn't have a whole year before my next trip...
I guess I'll live through you guys!
We will try to provide plenty of pictures and videos to help your wait.
The snow has started falling. It is falling hard and fast right now. If it keeps it up all night like they say we really will have 9 inches. Ben went outside for 5 minutes and when he came back in he had a layer of snow on his back!
So let's go somewhere warm and sunny!
Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Parade
This CM brought up the end of the parade. She came down Main Street dancing the whole way.
Awesome CM
Brooklynn doing some pin trading with a Halloween CM
Roaring Lion
The Gorillas
Hope you all enjoy them!
I enjoyed them all.
Jill the videos were great. Brooklynn has become a seasoned trader.
The pictures at AK were wonderful shots especially the lions.
Cara your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
All that are housebound tomorrow because of snow have fun and stay warm. May your electricity stay on, and you stay warm.
Yes, I'm with you on the wish for everyone to keep their electricity.
I liked Jill's hippo picture, too.

We hope all of our snowbound DIS friends enjoy your day off spending this extra time with your families. I second micandminforever in hoping it's a fun day and no one loses heat or power.
I wish I had known for sure we were going to be out today. Jill and the girls could have come up here or I could have gone down there before it all started, and we could have hung out together. They didn't call ours until the middle of the night, though, and since we were on the line, I really couldn't guarantee anything. By the time ours started, Jill already had several inches, too.
