My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Ahh I just made new tickers. Life is just so much happier when you have a ticker. :cloud9:

Too funny about the Memom theft. If you can remember, I did a similar thing when we saw each other at MK. I almost walked out without paying for Cooper's lollipop. So, I can say that it is easily done when you are distracted. I am going to work on my hubby. The first round of the NCAA tournament is in Tampa that week, so I could possibly persuade him by letting him go to some games by himself. We will see. He wants to try somewhere else. There is also a conference at Atlantis in the Bahamas, but I really would like to go back to the GF. I would also have to get Blake's passport if we did that and I really am not looking forward to going through that process soon.

It was the same store and the same spot in the store, now that I think about it. YOU rubbed off on me! It's all you're doing!!! Yeah, that's it. ::yes::

Trent would be glad to join your husband at the NCAA Tournament.

That apple decorated like Minnie Mouse is so cute.

How long do you get to keep your little girls? I know it will be hard to let them go.

They left just a little while ago. I sure will miss them. It was an absolute joy to have them around for so long.

I can just see you wandering out of the store drawn by the sounds of a Disney parade! Who can resist that music??? Okay, did you finish watching the parade because you couldn't cross the street back to the Emporium or was it because you wanted to see the end of it? Too funny! I would have been in such a panic!

You and Bella did it again??? Oh my goodness!

I finished watching the parade just because. If I was going to go to jail, I might as well have one last hurrah, right? ;)

Well, Bella did it, but since I was supposedly the adult in charge, I guess it was my fault. :upsidedow

I remember Jill saying something about this on fb.

Lexi already liked the look of those little trinkets. She was sitting next to me while I was reading your update and she said they were cute.

Lexi wants to say hi to Brooklynn

Yes, Jill was quick to let you all know what a criminal I was, the best I remember. If she had been the thief, I would never have told anyone. :snooty:

That was quite a message, Lexi. I will have to let Jill show it to Brooklynn, since she is on her way home. Maybe you girls will get to spend time together one of these days. :goodvibes

Small World sounds great, that morning. I agree it would be fun to fill the boat with DISers. Let me know the time you want to meet.

I am off to Town Center today. I will think of my follow DISers while visiting the Disney Store.

Okay, sounds great. Julie will be there, too, and DisMomAmy, and whoever else wants to come. Sounds like fun! :dance3:

Did you find anything good at the Disney Store?

Poor MeMom!! I think walking out with something is completely easy to do, especially with small children and wonderful parade music. Don't beat yourself up. I had to giggle at Jill posting about it on FB though. That is something I would probably do to my mom as well. lol!!! It's all done with love of course.

You girls should be nicer to your poor, aging mothers.

We have to leave on the sun 3/27 quick, mother/daughter/5k trip but I will pm you my cell as well and maybe we can figure something out. We will be at Kona and then MK as well that night. I wish my DS (almost 3) was coming as well because he would have a ball with Brooklyn and Bella there.

We'll touch base, then. I know we'll want to go to Poly at some point, but if we stay in MK for a while, we may meet there. We will for sure plan to meet in one of those two spots, though.

I just priced out flight, Pop Century, park tickets and regular dining for Sat thru Tues for me and the three girls. It came to $2432. Just dreaming but it would be nice to get away that weekend. I would need to take two personal days. I think we will definitely be playing the Mega Millions Friday...so much to do and so little money...lol!

Definitely not trying to start trouble, but have you ever considered taking a trip with just one girl and spending one on one time with her. I know that the times Brooklynn and I go off together are very special to both of us. She gets undivided attention, and I get to watch just her and listen to just her. That may be too hard with you, though, since your youngest, unlike Bella, is old enough to be jealous if one of the older girls were to go. Maybe you and your beautiful biggest girl. She was looking so 'grown' and so beautiful in your latest FB pictures.

I like your idea of winning the lottery, too. :thumbsup2

Oh and your story reminds me of Brooklyn. We were in HS in a shop with friends looking around. Brooklyn found a blanket almost identical to the one our friend had brought. The girls were cuddling in it in the morning. Well, Brooklyn walked out of the store holding it and I hadn't a clue until we arrived back at the stroller and the real blanket was there. I realized what happened and ran back to the store with the new blanket and tried to explain to the CM what happened. She just smiled and said thank you for returning it. LOL

At first, I was afraid to go back in. I thought they wouldn't believe me. I had all kinds of thought flooding my brain, but the girl acted so nonchalant about it.

It's a date!

I'll practice my singing now-
It's a small world after all.....

Naah, I'll keep my singing to myself.
I have to sit where I can see Claire, though.
Her little head will be bobbing all around as she looks around at everything.
She'll be so cute!

Oh, gosh, had I done what you did, my family would never, ever let me live it down!

Those figurines are very cute -- I'm going to the mall with a decent Disney store in a little while...I am pretty sure they have Vinylmations, so I might have to check for those, too

They won't. I'm sure Jill will remind me for years to come to keep my hands to myself when we go in Disney shops. ;)

I got an email from Disney Visa that kids 3-9 are free. That usually means that a day or two later they are offered to general public.

Dear Cardmembers,

Take advantage of this advance booking offer today to purchase a 4-night/4-day Magic Your Way Vacation Package that includes room and Theme Park tickets, and children age 3-9 can stay and get a 4-day Theme Park admission ticket, FREE. So hurry and book today! Your offer is available for stays most nights February 17–April 16, April 28–June 14, and August 14–October 1, 2011.

I think Jill's bunch will be getting new AP's this summer, and if I can afford it, I will be, too. That would cover summer, October, Christmas, spring break 2012, and summer 2012. We'd just have to go maybe at the end of June and beginning of July again to be sure the AP covered the whole summer trip. It would be well worth it.

They had several cute shirts on sale, but thanks goodness for my pocketbook none in my size.

My nephew and his wife are expecting their first child in Feb. but I talked myself into waiting until I got to Disney World to buy baby clothes. As you know I have already loaded up on stuff characters for the baby.

17 degrees?! That's colder than here! I hope it all worked out and the HEATER people came on time and it's taken care of!

We are pretty open to whatever. I would prefer something not on our travel day, as we usually like to just chill and not have appointments of any kind. However, we can make it work if that's the best date!

I would LOVE to do a Pop meet so the kids can play if the weather allows. I want to take Henry over there, plus their kids pools are just awesome. :goodvibes

With all that said...there is a possibility we might not be there at all....I recently interviewed for a job and they really liked me. However, I will most likely be VERY needed in Feb and March, so I don't think they would be too keen on a 2 week vacation during that time. I haven't heard any exact details, or if I even have the job yet for sure, so I haven't canceled anything, but I'll keep ya posted. If we do have to move the trip, we are looking at May.

It's warmed up a little now. I hope it will be nice and stay in the 30's and 40's all winter. :)

If there is a time when it is warm enough to swim, the girls will be happy to be able to do that. We'll see what is happening with that closer to time.

I hope you get to go, but it's totally understandable about the job. I very much need another PT job. My two day a week tutoring isn't a big help.

Ahh I just made new tickers. Life is just so much happier when you have a ticker. :cloud9:

Life is grand when you have a new trip in the books. :cool1:

*********************************

My sweet little girls are gone now. We had a fun day, as my friend, Kay, came over with her granddaughter for a couple of hours this morning, and then Brandy came with Carson and Parker this afternoon. There was lots of imaginative play all through the house. I love watching the kids and listening to their conversations.

I won't have Brooklynn crawling up in bed with me in the middle of the night tonight. No scratching her back as I watch her slowly drift off into dreamland. I won't hear a tiny little voice calling MeMom from the back room in the morning. I will miss their laughter and their messes and the many snack times Brooklynn assures me she needs. She has morning snack, mid-morning snack, pre-lunch snack, afternoon snack... You get the picture. I will miss Bella saying, 'Taint choo' every time I give her something, and , 'Shoo zhoo' when she wants to get by me. I could just eat that little girl up - she is so sweet! I just love everything about having them around.

My cat, however, is possibly pleased that everyone has left the building so that he can have his stomping grounds back. ;)

 MeMom! I never took you for a thief!! :rotfl: :lmao:

I'm so glad to hear you and the girls had a good time together. Bella's "taint choo" and "shoozh you" sounds so adorable :cutie:

It's probably a very, very good thing that I have no Disney Store any more. ;)

I didn't know I was either, but it seems that I might be. :upsidedow

I bet those girls are tapped out asleep in the back seat right now. They had a busy day. Since they weren't at home a long time on Christmas Day, they still have lots of fun and exciting toys to go home to. They should be good and spoiled by the time they go back to school on Monday. Their teachers will probably hate us, because we have done all the wrong things.

I think the Feb dates cover the upcoming trip. Would that help with Brooklyn's ticket ? Maybe it will mess things up for yours and Jill's if you have to pay more to get it "free".

Gotcha. I wasn't even thinking about this trip. I think we'll stick with what we have. I have to write a check for an ungodly amount of money and have it to them by January 12th. It will hurt like the dickens, but when it is done, we can rest easy about the trip and the food. That really does feel good. I will throw in a box of Pop-tarts for breakfasts and then the rest of my food will be paid for. We'll have to be creative to get a good variety of food from the QS plan, but it'll be fun and a little challenging. :thumbsup2

Anybody who is watching the webcam, Cheena is about to go see if she can find the camera and see if Dave and Kathy are there.

She is standing there right now watching EWP.

Yes you have free dining - it would mess that up. You get a mug and I bet you can work where you do not even need the poptarts. So you need no drinks to speak of and 2 snacks can get a breakfast item and still have 1 more snack for a real snack item. I know you are up for the challenge.

I just watched EWP and I don't hear them around. She neds to ccome up and wave. I did see soemone standing there in what looked likea Beige coat. If I enlarge the picture it gets real distorted.

they are to the right if you face the buidling. Apparently a couple of rooms over from where they normally are. There was a post about the room. :headache:

SHE IS THERE NOW AND MEETING DAVE!! I CAN HEAR HER :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

MEMOM ARE YOUR EARS BURNING- They are talking about you. All good.

At first they were going to leave. She said she was scared. Then she ended up going back. I was texting a hello to Dave and Kathy. How cool is all this technology?

All good and creepy all the same. I hope I am not creeping Chichi out by knowing where she is and what she is doing. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I had the volume up so I started to toggle back and forth and caught her walking up and dave saying hi! So cool
Then I got my phone and texted her too!!! :goodvibes

I heard most of that. The poly is having a dance party tomorrow night?

Something about a strange boat in the lagoon too.

Now you're talking Memom...just me and Sarah away for a long weekend...big girls weekend....ahhhhhhh and its much cheaper too!

But....

...wouldn't half the point be so that the two Brooklyn's can finally meet? :rotfl: and Devon would absolutely eat up Bella...she is a sucker for littles!:rolleyes1

But... then again....a nice long weekend away with my Sarah...bliss!

Oh the indecision.....:rotfl2:

**Oh do we have that link to Kathy and Dave's this year? I don't know if I still have it in my favorites...u can pm me it if you don't feel comfy posting it. :confused3 Many thanks! Looking forward to the party tomorrow! :woohoo:

ETA: Pop C, 3-day MYW/hopper with reg dining, flight for two is $1718 for 26th-1st!!!!!!!!!!

I went to do some clean up and came back for the late fireworks. Couldn't hear hardly anything then. I'll be watching again tomorrow evening. I don't go out on NYE. I stay safely in my house. :)

It will be fun when all the girls can cross paths someday, no doubt. I was just thinking of the money and the opportunity to create some special memories for just you and Sarah. Just in the short time I have 'known' you guys and seen her pictures, there is such a difference as she is growing from a little girl into a young lady, and it really hit me in the last set of pictures you put up. I was really thinking of you and her having some time to just be big girls together, but then I know it would be hard to leave the little girls back. Right now, I could very easily take Brooklynn and know that it would do any psychological damage to Bella. In a few years, I might not be able to do that. I'd feel bad about you leaving the little girls, too. I guess in being a teacher I just see how important it is for every child to get some time where they get to be one person instead of one in a group. Whatever you do, we definitely do look forward to when our paths cross with all of you on a future trip.

I Facebooked you. I think we are not supposed to put other websites on here, and I don't know if that has stipulations or what, so just to be safe and compliant, I did it that way. I don't want any DIS troubles, as I like it around here. :thumbsup2

You are among other things, a very wise woman, Memom. I am really considering this. If it does come about, should I make it a surprise? Maybe tell her a week before or something? I don't want to wait till the last minute. I don't think it would do damage to the others...they would have daddy time after all. And we are all still going to Disney in August for a week as a family!!! Staying off property at that same house again. And I may do an American Girl store/Mary Poppins day in NYC at the beginning of March with just the two littles so...they would be getting their away time with mommy too. What do you think?

I don't know, this all came about because a friend of my husbands, with two very young children, is on life support/or was tonight. Life is so precious...I just don't want opportunities to slip by. Gosh, three days ago she was changing diapers and feeding and clothing her little ones and tonight....she's in heaven. Thanks for listening.

I think this would be a very treasured memory for both of you. A week or so out would allow her to join in the excitement and make all of her plans for what she'd like to do. I'm sure she would love sharing it with her friends, and I imagine she would feel very special! And since you are doing the special trip for your little girls and going on a family Disney trip, then I would think you could do this without feeling much guilt. ;)

If you do make the trip, the first thing you must put on the schedule is a Small World meet on March 1st. :woohoo:

Your friend's situation brings tears to my eyes, because I know all too well how precious life is. I faced this when I had my own cancer surgery many years ago. I was fortunate that it was nothing. Then, when Trent almost died, I really came to know even more that time with my kids doing anything - free, cheap, or even expensive - surpasses any other desire I have. My friend, Kay, is a nurse technician in the hospital where he was, and she so often says that every nurse and doctor that saw him said he should not have lived through that. That hits home in a big way! Prayers and thoughts of comfort and peace for your friend and the family and those who love and surround them.

Your stories about the girls playing around your house and Bella's sweet phrases make me teary-eyed. My little boys are growing so fast and I will miss all those same little things. Right now, Blake is making potato heads. He got a potato head set from Santa that has Buzz, Woody, Jessie and Mr. Potato Head parts. So, now we have more parts than imaginable. He likes them (so does Mommy) and that is all that matters. I hope you get to see the girls soon. I know you really miss them. I am going to really work on Jason today. I have an itinerary written out for WDW in March. It includes just enough non-Disney activities to make him happy. I am crossing my fingers. I will let you know.

Happy New Year!! (just in case I do not get back on) Cooper wants to have a party tonight that includes peanut butter sandwiches, chips, birthday cake (Blake's idea), and crackers. :rotfl2:

Its nearly 2pm UK time and we are about to get packed to visit some family for a New Years Celebration! So signing on to say Hi and "Happy New Year"! Much love & happiness for everyone in 2011. I know it will be a good year for me - we are FINALLY visiting Disney again!!!!!!!!

Julie xxx
