And it's due the 1st...
I have problems with the mail lately...
I sent the payment in about a week ago and seen my checks haven't cleared today..
I sent them a email explaining my situation and I guess i'll give them a call monday....
The other crazy thing is my servicer is someone else as of April 1st...ugh...And I sent them a extra principal payment too...more stress..
Okay..done rambling on now...

Most often mortgages aren't late until after the 15th. Give it a little time and try not to worry.

Mortgage companies pass them around all the time, it shouldn't be a problem for your payment and extra payment to be applied correctly even if it doesn't get there until after they have passed the load on.

Thanks for the comforting words....I stress out over everything...:o

You can authorize your mortgage company to debit your checking account monthly for your mortgage payment. Then you won't have to worry about it.

Mine are set up that way :) Right now we are refinancing so I'll have to do it over but it is nice. Usually you can pay it later this way too, mine pays on the 15th so I get to keep the money a little longer and not worry about it ever being late.

I sent a check to Citgo on March 9. They still haven't received it! What's with the mail system? I wish ALL companies would have the capability of letting you pay online. I know that the online ones are the bills I pay first!
