my Mom is almost at the end of her battle ...=0(

I wanted to let you all know my Mom is almost at the end of her battle with Alzeheimers.They think she had a mini stroke on Weds.She hasn't had anything to eat or drink since Tues night.I have had her with Hospice for over a year now...I'm keeping her here at home with us until it's over...I have come this far caring for her I can't bear the thought of putting her anywhere..

Hopsice is coming in every day.She's on oxygen and pain meds so she's comfortable.I had the priest her yesterday to give her last rites...so she's good to go when she's ready.

I knew this time was going to come ,have seen her decline through the years,months,days...thought I was prepared but it's still not easy.

Our prayers are with you! I recently lost my GM and she was also living with my mother on hospice. I know there really are no words to lessen the pain of losing your mother, but my heart goes out to you and I will keep you in our prayers, as I'm sure everyone here will!
