my Mom is almost at the end of her battle ...=0(

I also wanted to send my thoughts and prayers. I lost my dad July 12th to a rare form of dementia that began similar to Alzheimer's. Even as prepared as I thought I was, it was still hard and continues to be. I think about him every single day, as I know you will with your mom. If you're ever up late at night in the coming months because you cant sleep, youll probably find me signed on here too.

God bless

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. You're in my thoughts and prayers through this rough time.

(((Baloo)))

My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. I lost my mom in 2002 (to a stroke) and my dad this past June (he had dementia and a rare form of blood cancer).

No matter how much you think you are prepared to say good bye it is still hard.

hugs,

How tough it is. I am so sorry, but God has blessed your mom with having you care for her. He doesn't call the equiped, He equipes the called.
You are in my prayers.

I am a true believer that everything happenes for a reason, and exactally when it is supposed to. Keep this in mind when you are feeling down. No matter how hard we want to hang on to the ones we love, God has his own plans for us and in time, we will meet again. I am so sorry, it's never easy, just try to enjoy the days you have left and take lots of pictures because you will treasure them some day.

Alicia-

I am sorry to hear your mom is near the end of her time here on earth.

May you feel the prayers and love surrounding you and your family from us to get you through this period.

All wonderful hugs for you!!!! Alicia, I wish I could tell you the pain goes away. On Wednesday it will be five years, and I think of her everyday. I had six months to prepare for her death. Six months and when she drew her last breathe, I was hardly prepared. I don't think you can ever prepare for the death of your parents, or a sibling.

My heart breaks for you Alicia as you go down the road I traveled only 1,823 days ago. Peace and strength be with you. I'm so, so sorry. We 're all here for you.

May you and your family find peace as you go through this difficult time. :grouphug:

We're praying for you, your mom, and your family.

Alicia

I hope that you can find peace in knowing that you have done everything possible to keep your mother's life happy and surrounded by family. Having been through this myself I know the sacrifices that you and your family have made in order to keep her home and provide her with the best care humanly possible. You are an amazing woman and stronger than most. It will be difficult to say those final farewells, but you know that she will be in a better place and free from the terrible disease that has plagued her. Know that someday you will meet again and she will be the mother that you remembered before all this started. May God provide you with Strength and Comfort during this difficult time.

Deb

Alicia,

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. My family and I traveled almost an identical road with my grandmother, and although you know it's coming, it's never easy. A loss is still that. I will be praying for strength, comfort, and peace for all of you! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
