anyone out there know what to do when your mic doesn't record? Even when you replace it with a brand new one?

I tried everything I know.. all seems to be working.. :badpc:

Click your volume control icon select options then properties make sure mic is on in both playback and record sections. check or uncheck mic 2 bubble. Make sure mic is not muted in record mode. those are just some common problems . hope that helps

Also check that it's in the right slot, also that it's in the slot as much as it can go. If you're testing it with a program check that the program isn't messed up and that the volume/sound controls and mic on or off are set right. (If you're trying it out with like a audio conversation with MSN Messenger then you need to set the mic up everytime you change the mic)

So far.. I got working but it's WAY too low.. I keep having this problem when trying to use teamspeak, and now, it's happening audacity.

Anyone know what would cause 2 seperate mics to go soft? :badpc: :badpc:

The program volume.. LOL

Ok.. Even though i think audacity has caused my problem in the first place, I think i can work around amplifying later any finished recordings i have.. but now?

HOW DO I GET MY MIC TO STOP GOING TO THE SPEAKERS?!?! :badpc:

My computer would make an awesome karaoke machine at the moment. :rolleyes1
