Thanks Cheryl! I appreciate your kind words. I am so not a runner. either. If I were an animal it would so be a turtle. I consider myself to be in shape *for the most part and not necessarily the shape I'd like * but I just am not fast.

I kind of wanted to stay at one of the All Stars, but I really really liked POP. I was spoiled with my mom splurging *CC, of course* and my own hard work for getting us YC, WL, CBR. so I was hesitant at first for POP, but I loved it
Have you thought of what parks you will be at for each day? It would be neat to run into some dis-ers!

I went to my aunt's house yesterday to find
MICKEY MAIL!
now, for that, I only received a yellow luggage tag and my ME ticket. What happened to the souvenir luggage tags, do I not get one because it is only me?
That will be a sad story if that is the case.

Today I am treating myself to a shopping excursions. Usually that means me getting frustrated with pant sizes and extra baggage, but,
I am hopeful of finding the cutest outfits for my vacation. I scheduled when I will be getting paid and I am on vacation in between two payment periods, so I need to save my souvy money!

I was supposed to work tonight, but I figured I do not want to work a back to back *work until eleven tonight then back at 6:45 am*
and I won't have a day off for over a week.
Plus it is coming down to crunch time and assignments will be due soon

So I gave my shift for tonight to a co-worker.
I should work for the money,
but I just need time to breathe.

I RSVP'd for the candle lighting ceremony the hospital is holding for everyone that has passed away this year. It's just me. My dad did not want to come with. It's November 6th.

I still remember the faces of the last people who saw me before I knew my mom had passed away. We were on the elevator, they got off on the same floor. I never saw their faces again.
I could not have imagined what their horror was when they saw me fall to the ground and scream.
Sometimes I find myself stuck in that moment. Like it's all I can think of, I can't avoid the thought.
Then my heart sinks deep into my stomach and my cheeks become weighted to the bottom of my jaw line.
And here I am,
typing those moments and sharing with you the pain.
I'm sorry for a sad post. I guess last night I became overwhelmed with the anxiety of traveling alone. I know I will have a great time, I know it, because I will make it a great time. But still, when people ask and I respond as to going solo, they tilt their head and ask,
"well, don't you have any family or friends?"

Puzzling. A girl like me has no boyfriend,
best friend or even family member that is going with me.

It's simple.
I do not want to wait anymore. I want to go and celebrate the life of my mother and know else knew her like I did. In a way if I were to bring someone with me, it would take away the entire message I want to give the *World*

Boy yesterday was a tough day for me.
I know that I am 'allowed' to be sad, but I hate giving an entire day into being sad. But I it something I have to do to have happier days.
I work the AM shift this morning and apparently
it is going to be
SUPER
busy. wedding parties
conventions
I wonder what it would be like to work the front desk at one of the Disney Resorts

I could totally be a magical memory maker!

So,
I found two cute tops yesterday.
The "in" style are those flow-y type of shirts that are
sheer with lace that come to a v-neck
*I will post pictures obviously in my TR*
One is pink & one is blue
But, I am thinking I will still look for 'extra' tops
in case I want to change for one of my dinners

As for school I am going into my 8th week. We are on trimesters, so we only have ten weeks

I just keep thinking,
it will be here before you know it!

I also went into the Disney Store by me yesterday
Oh. my. gosh.
I had to literally restrain myself from wanting to buy everything!
I can't wait to look at all of the parks holiday gifts!
I want
everything!

I forgot to plan my shopping time...
good thing there is a gift shop at the end of nearly every ride

oh man, so excited!!!!

I need to go to the Disney store and find me a couple of Disney shirts before we go to WDW. Did you notice if they still have T shirts out? I'm hoping that even with with the cooler weather coming up, that they'll still have some T shirts, maybe even on sale!

The closest Disney Store to us is near Atlanta, but we may plan to do that soon!

Aw don't stress about traveling solo. I've been doing it the past 5 years to Disney (since I was 19). Anyone that ive run into has always been nothing but nice to me and always say how they wish they would try traveling solo. I do admit though I usually get a little nervous before traveling but thats nothing since I always feel like that even before traveling with friends. But don't worry you will have a blast...there is just something so fun/empowering traveling by yourself plus your trip has such a special meaning. Just sit back relax and enjoy it...plus don't worry about what people think...chances are you will never run into any of them ever again! Just have a blast-you deserve it!!!

The still have t-shirts out a few hoodies but that's as much as they usually have for winter clothing and I live in the suburbs of Chicago!

I went to lunch with my two aunts & I wore one of the shirts I bought for
vacation and I got so many compliments!
I plan on wearing it to AK. It's super flowy, I kind of feel like a bird in it

I'm really glad that I made all of my ressies before this weekend. I think it's a good idea to make it a CC guarantee. I'm pretty sure that will make it easier to find reservations since most people will be deterred from "hogging" them since a penality will be put in place for no-shows.


This is my week 8 of my fall term, three more weeks of classes, one week of finals and then

VACATION!!!!!!

...hmmmm and then after dinner back for EMH!

Yay for shopping! I don't think I'm going to necessarily bring Christmas colored clothes (...because I don't have any) and everything else is so Christmassy! I'm sure there'll be no problem getting into the Christmas spirit.

Your ADRs look really great! I wanted to get one for Artist's Point but my boyfriend really wanted to go to Whispering Canyon instead.

I love traveling solo (not just in Disney). It's really nice to have only yourself to worry about and to do whatever you want.

After getting caught up on your posts, I have confirmed I put the PRO in procratination! I did get my spreadsheet done with my ressies and park times for each day. I still need to find a place close by to spend Saturday night so I can get checked in bright and early Sunday morning. Now on to my least favorite thing...shopping.

I was looking at some recent trip reports and Christmas merchandise is out already. Why not get something while you're there. And if you're putting up a tree this year, see about get an ornament and have your mom's name put on it or of her favorite character. I know ornaments can be pricey but it can be something special that will last a lifetime.

Sorry i'm just writing back now. We had a big snow storm this weekend and havent had power since saturday night, hopefully it comes on soon! Im posting this from my phone so hopefully it makes sense and there isn't too many spelling mistakes.

Some personal things I love to do are spend time at the gf resort. That is my favorite and I always make it a point to stop over (by way of the monorail) to sit in the lobby and hang out on the beach for a while. Also make sure you check out the lobby during your trip since the huge gingerbread house will be set up! Its beautiful and smells so good! I usually take my time and just enjoy the parks...if I feel like seeing a show-ok, feel like a snack-ok..etc. If I get lonely I make a call home. Other than that i just try to relax and enjoy myself.

I think I will be finding my own traditions this trip, something special to share with my mom.
I have yet to see this gingerbread house!!! I am so excited! yum! and I totally know what you mean about going and doing what I want. When I brought one of my girlfriends last winter, she hated all of the shows. She even hated the muppets!!!! who could hate the muppets?!

Work went hauntingly slow. I definitely made it a point to listen to the Haunted Mansion song on my way to and from work, though. One of my mom's favorite, which kind of creeps me out because what if my mom is the 100th ghost?!
She would like that, I bet she is going to have a ball with this trip.
I can't even begin to anticipate how many ways I will see my mom in this trip.
It is beginning to get way cool when I think about what my mom would want to do or stop and see. And I would be the only one who knows those things because Disney World is what we shared. It is such a neat way to think of it that way.
I need to think of a countdown, probably a ten day countdown
any ideas?!

we talked about the history and our favorite childhood memories

she has two pairs and during our last trip she bought me two rings and a pendent!!!

I totally forgot about those!
I am so excited to find those in my boxes.

I think I will start wearing the rings tomorrow!!!

I only have 3 ADR's...breakfast at Chef Mickey's Tuesday, lunch at Yak & Yeti's Thursday and dinner at Biergarten Friday. I did have ressies for dinner at 1900 Park Fare and breakfast at O'hana but cancelled those. Since I'm driving I'll be able to bring food so I'm not spending too much money to eat. Since my trip last year was booked so soon before I left I didn't have a chance for any dining reservations so I wanted to make sure I got some in this trip.

Ohh! Chef Mickey's is the BEST way to start a Disney day!!!! Too bad you aren't going to Yak & Yeti that Tuesday, otherwise we could have had lunch together but that just means I can give you the heads up on what's good there How far are you from WDW that you are driving? Did you not want to get the free dining plan?
