My Magical Journey to Running the Half Marathon TR Link! p.107

I can tell you lost weight. Especially in your face and shoulders.

180 days out, is around 6 months. So probably by the end of June, beginning of July. Plus use the wdw website. You can book your ADR's online. It is really fun. I don't know if you have your heart set at eating in France-but me and my dh ate there in February at 7 at nite and it was loud, lots of singing for "Happy Birthday's" and not really what I expected. I think if we would of been next to the window, I would of been fine. But then, you had people walking right next to the window too, so that was kind of wierd. And I missed Remy-the only reason we went there. We were not on the dining Plan and our food/wine bill with tax and tip was over $100. But, everything is worth trying at least once.

I was looking at the menu on allears, and I like the 3 course meal for $37. I'll have the TIW card so we'll get 20% off. When I estimated our final cost with the tip and tax, it came to right around $37 for each of us (correct me if I'm wrong) which sounds fine to me (what do you think Carissa?). We won't be drinking any wine.

So what did you order there, was it good? I'm drooling over the menu! If I were to order right now I would get:
Salade Au Bleu
Plat de Cote de Boeuf au Cabarnet avec pates
Creme brulee

Here's the menu:

Hi Carissa! I'm home and still suffering from the "can't go read about other people's vacations right now" blues. I'll start a TR soon, promise.

Baxter is adorable and keeping you busy I'm sure! Congrats on the new addition to the family!

worms, jeans that now fit, puppies potentially named Mickey (though I prefer Goofy for a pup lol) and countdown chains.

What wonderful things!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can see, we ended up going with Baxter instead. ;)

I was wondering how you'd "know" there were 1,000. ;)

There may be even more now!

I saw some of your pictures on Facebook last night, Carissa! Baxter is just darling!

Thanks. Good thing he's cute because he sure is a handful! :rolleyes1

Thanks Marisa. I knew about making reservations online. Chef de France will be a new experience so I'm sure it'll all be good. :goodvibes

Welcome home Baxter!!!

Amanda

Thanks Amanda! He's settling in nicely.

Definitely sounds good to me! I'd pick the same first two as you, but I'd pick one of the other desserts. :thumbsup2 The entree sounds awesome!

He is! Thanks Liesa :goodvibes

Hey Missy! I understand. Not like I'd have a chance to read it right now anyway. :rolleyes1

My apologies for being MIA from the Dis. I'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Baxter is still a handful, but I'm finding moments here and there to have some time to myself and I don't feel like I have to follow him around the house constantly.

Here are pictures of our little guy:

This last one is my favorite and was taken yesterday - he will be 10 weeks on Tuesday:

My training is still going pretty well. My last run I was able to run part of it at 4.4, but had to slow down about halfway through. I'll get there. :thumbsup2 Here is the schedule I'm trying to stick with these days:

Monday - 30 minute run (trying to increase my speed by .2 every week)

Tuesday - cross-training (wii EA Sports Active)

Wednesday - 30 minute interval run (throwing in bursts of increased speed throughout the workout)

Thursday - cross-trianing (wii EA Sports Active)

Friday - 30 minute run

Saturday - distance run (increase my distance by 1/4 of a mile each week)

Sunday - REST

I haven't lost anymore weight recently, but my eating hasn't been great lately. I need to get back on track with that. Otherwise, things are busy around here. All three boys have birthdays coming up in the next couple of weeks, Chuck and I celebrate our 11th anniversary, Sully got accepted into a week long summer camp (free through Operation Purple) that takes place in June, and we have some family visiting during the middle of July. Lots of things going on to help pass the time until Chuck comes home. :cool1:

Welcome back! :thumbsup2
Baxter is adorable. SO cute!!!! I'm almost jealous.
Great job with the training! Keep up the good work!!!

Amanda

Baxter is adorable!
Great job on keeping up the training! You'll be ready by January!
And sounds like you have a busy summer in store. Sounds like it will be fun!

Awww, what a cute puppy!!! He is adorable! Sounds like you are doing great on the training, too! :goodvibes

Baxter is way too cute! I bet the boys are just loving him! :thumbsup2

Your workout schedule looks fantastic! I need to get myself back on track after being on vacation. My life didn't slow down to let me back in and I've been busy trying to get settled back into a good routine.

Don't be a stranger....sounds like a busy few weeks ahead!

Great going on those workouts!! I just can't muster ANYTHING on my off days; they need to be just that! I started W4 today, and it KICKED MY BUTT!!! I am going to be so sore tomorrow!! I don't know why they practically double your jogging time from W3 to W4. :confused3

Baxter is the cutest, furriest thing EVER!! I love him! But understand that he is a major handful! It'll ease up, I'm sure of that!

Glad to see you are getting some of your free time back. :thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't been around in awhile. Baxter sure is a cutie. Chuck's going to come home to all kinds of new family members.:goodvibes

Workout schedule looks great. I need to get going again, took a break last week since I wasn't feeling well. DH has been running at 4:30AM:eek: since it is so hot here in the evening. Just don't know if I can do that, but might give it a try one day.

Have a great day!

Work out schedule looks good. I take Sat. and Sunday off, but I need to put those two days back on. I do so much house work on Saturday, I consider that my exercising, but I am fooling myself. I took a bike ride 7 mile with my sister tonite, and my legs were so strong, the ride was a breeze. I have to get it up to 12 miles, so I basically have to do the course twice. The running is still killing me, but I can do 2 minutes now, with a 3 minute walk in between.

Ok, official hi-jack.
I ordered the 3 course meal.
Salade Au bleu
Filet de Saumon, ratatouille sauce Choron
Creme brulee.

My dh ordered the onion soup and steak. The 3 course meal didn't have steak, so he went this route. I forget what he got for dessert, but I wish he would have gotten the crepe's. If he did, I know I would of rolled out of the place, pigging out on desserts.
The salmon was made pretty much the same as it is on buffets. I should of went with the chicken, but I am so sick of eating chicken.

Okay-hi-jack over.

I love your puppy. I want one.

How are the worms doing?

Ya for Chuck coming home soon. I know you said you can't tell us when, but it has to be soon.

Welcome back! :thumbsup2

Thanks Amanda! I so want to catch up on everyone's PTRs and TRs and I promise to soon.

Thanks Jenny! I'm starting to think anything faster than 5.0 is going to be HARD.

Baxter is a cutie, but I swear, I can see the glint of mischief in his eyes. ;)

For sure! ;)

Awww, what a cute puppy!!! He is adorable! Sounds like you are doing great on the training, too! :goodvibes

Thanks - we think he's pretty cute too. :goodvibes

Don't be a stranger....sounds like a busy few weeks ahead!

It's hard to get back to it. The eating has been the hardest for me lately. I was doing so well and then the puppy came along and it's been just trying to make the fastest thing I can.

Great going on those workouts!! I just can't muster ANYTHING on my off days; they need to be just that! I started W4 today, and it KICKED MY BUTT!!! I am going to be so sore tomorrow!! I don't know why they practically double your jogging time from W3 to W4. :confused3

Some of the jumps in the program are tough. But, they're preparing you. Trust me, you can do it!! :cool1:

He is a handful. The hardest part has been the biting. I have to be around him constantly to correct him, but it's getting better. :thumbsup2

That's one of the things I like about running on a treadmill! Don't have to worry about the weather. :thumbsup2

Sounds like your workouts are great! I'd like to bike, but the last time I tried it, my behind was so sore forever!!

The worms are doing okay. I ended up putting the bin outside because we had a fruit fly infestation. I don't think it was from the bin because the flies weren't in there. But, I put it outside just to be safe.

We still have a couple of months before my husband returns home.

OK, I know you already said this somewhere, but what kind of dog is Baxter? He is soooo cute!! :goodvibes

Do you guys have a last day of "school" with homeschooling or is it a year-round kind of thing? Sounds like you have a lot of great stuff coming up! :thumbsup2
