Anybody else on this board use a MAC computer? If yes, can you read the DCL website? It only loads halfway for me. My husband's PC gets the entire page. I can open all other cruiselines web sites but DCL. Kathy

I use a Mac G4, running OS/X 10.3.1.

I have no problem viewing http://www.disneycruise.com/ with Safari 1.1.1 or Netscape 7.1.

But Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2.3 does not render the page properly.

That's strange. Usually Internet Explorer for Mac renders pages the same as Internet Explorer for Windows. But in this case, it doesn't.

Wow I wasn't even aware that there were Mac computers anymore....do they still make those??

Grumbo slowly backs out of the saloon as the Mac people become restless and begin muttering :) This could get ugly :hyper:

Cheers,
Grumbo

I use 10.2.8 and have no problem with either IE, iCab or Safari (which I much prefer).

:teeth: DH got a good laugh out of that one.

He uses a G5 with the Mac OS X Panther and it came up just fine.

Good luck.

You know, people should watch what they say...you never know which Webmaster might possess the sexiest computer on the market and seek revenge ;)

I run on an iMAC G4 (you know the Cool white one with the floating screen!)
It runs on Mac OS X and I can only get parts of the Disney Cruise website. It works for searches and I can click on all of the different catagories that I need to reach, but I don't get many of the pictures.

Whomever the poster was that asked if they still make Macs obviously hasn't shopped for the coolest high end computers out there! My MAC rocks! I have spent the past week taking my old digital video from my wedding and making it into a full length DVD with music and graphics and everything. And I don't even have much computer training!

Stop into a MAC store (coming to large shopping malls near you soon! We have on in Milwaukee and it's the busiest store in the mall!) and see the cutting edge technology that's years ahead of any PCs. You WILL be suprised. (No I'm not a Mac salesman, I just LOVE my computer) Everyone who see's her wants one as soon as they try it!

I have two computers at work -- one a Dell and the other a MAC G4 running OS X, IE5.2. I am forced to use my PC to view disneycruise.com because it isn't rendering the imagemaps correctly. I really wish they would fix this!!!

BTW -- MACS RULE!

The problem is solved! Thank you everyone. Actually I have a Imac G4 with the wide 17" flat screen monitor. It reminds me of Pixar's jumping light in front of every movie they make. I will install Panther in a couple of months when I have more time. I do have Safari and Netscape so I will view DCL's website using those two browsers.

You know, whenever I have problems with my Macs it is always, always, with a Microsoft program. Hmm, maybe I should just stick with Safari. Thanks all. Oh yes, webmaster Penny, you go girl. :) Kathy

tecdavidt.....I've got the identical computer.....I'm going to try that and I'll let you how it works!

Thanks Everyone!

4 or 5 years ago Consumer reports had a computer article and the quote was Windows 98 = Mac 84.

I use a G3 iBook with Panther (which by the way, only took about 10 minutes to install and is SO amazing!) and I can see the DCL site on IE, Netscape & Safari without a problem.

I honestly believe PC people who pick on macs simply don't know what they're really missing! My DH's mom is a retired PC programmer and after years of prodding her, she gave my DH's G4 Power Mac a try. She now has the same G3 iBook I do and my FIL got an iMac for days when he's working from home. No more PCs for this family!

I just spent time playing with it and success! Safari opened up the new DCL web site! I will skip the MAC verse PC talk. I hear it all the time from my husband and surprise, when some crazy virus comes through and wrecks havoc in the computer world (PC computer world) he has his hands full with all of our company computers and the PC's we have at home. My 3 Macs are never affected! Why, simple, we are such a small % in the market hackers don't waste their time trying to mess up Mac's--at least that is my husband's theory. Also a reminder, that trusty little iPod that more and more people love, quite voice--it's a mac product. ;) Well I am going back to check out the DCL web site. Kathy
