My lunch today

I had a salad. :thumbsup2

I'm on a diet and have lost 8 pounds. It's basically count calories Mon-Fri and eat what I want on weekends. We'll see how it goes.
 
I had a can of Progresso Light soup and was starving 30 minutes later. So I had a half a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread w/cheese and a few pickles. Now I am doing ok!
 
I had turkey and lettuce roll ups on totillas with cheese/mustard/miraclewhiplight spread (I make it myself it doesn't have a name), baked chips, a bannana, and a sugar free rice pudding cup. 8 oz Coke Zero to drink.
 

I had a Lean Cuisine cafe steamers orange chicken, which was quite good. Then I came home at 3:30 and ate 2 small pieces of chocolate cake. There goes the healthy lunch!

My dh broke a tooth today, so it's spaghetti and other soft foods for the next few days! The dentist can't fix it till next week.
 
I had PB&J, an apple, a few strawberries, and some yogurt, spread out over the course of about 2 hours. I have to try to make it last as long as possible because I go straight to the gym from work and if I'm starving when I leave the gym, I'll head straight to the nearest store and leave its bakery section a smoldering ruin.
 
I had cooked cabbage with pieces of this thing thats kind of like a fat hot dog. Sounds gross, but it's actually really good. The cabbage is chopped up, and then seasoned and cooked on a pan, mix in the giant hot dog thing, and you have a yummy lunch. Eh, it's a Russian dish, so to me it's normal, to all my other friends, it's strange.
 
I had a peanut butter sandwich with peanut butter crackers on the side, a jar of peanuts as an appetizer, a peanut butter candy bar, followed by peanut butter ice cream.

Why my wife packed such a lunch for me is beyond me. However, I'm glad she made me anything, since we argued the other day about whether she had recently gained some weight.

Oh, I just found some peanut butter cups in the lunch sack!

Wasn't there a recall on some of these? :lmao:BTW, ham, pepperoni and Amn cheese on potato bread for me. And a diet pepsi.
 
I usually work through lunch....just too busy and get too behind. Gives me killer headaches, but great on the waistline.:rolleyes:
 
I had chicken faquitas on flour tortillas with pico de gallo, jalepenos, some sharp shredded cheese and guacamole--YUM!
 
Salad with *** lettuce, tomato, celery, snow peas, mushrooms, cucumber, pickled onion and some butter beans.
The dressing was seeded mustard, lemon juice and a little olive oil.

Mmmm, very yummy espeically since it is very hot and humid in sydney today.

My afternoon snack is a mango.
