So I removed the wallpaper in our bedroom and it left behind the backing and glue. I tried the suggestion of the vinegar and water solution but that didn't work. I had to clean the bathroom today and used the magic eraser and thought, "hmmm...I wonder if this would work on the walls in the bedroom?" Low and behold it did!!!! I wanted to sing to the heavens.

God Bless the Magic Eraser :goodvibes

Thanks!!!!

We just peeled of one strip of wallpaper so we can repair the wall and then re-paper it... If I have any problem, I'll have to get the Magic Eraser!

I love those things!! Can't believe all of the cleaning jobs they can do that other things just can't touch..:thumbsup2

I always try to make sure I have at least 2 boxes on hand at any given time..

We just stripped 2 rooms of wallpaper in the last week. Used 50/50 of vinegar and water, let soak about 15 minutes and it worked like a charm. Any glue etc that was still on the wall came off with running a scraper under it while still wet, hardley any work involved in doing it.

Augh those things are scary. If you have little kids or pets (or if the adults in the house might lick the walls or their hands that touched the walls, LOL) be sure to rinse the residue off...
