It looks like Sci Fi takes the burger off the menu for dinner but dinner works better with the schedule. I think Cape May Breakfast is supposed to be good, dinner is mostly seafood which we really don't eat. Never been to Tony's but a little scared of it. Just thought if we wanted a sit down in MK then it might be good enough. I thought about the Plaza which I liked in 2003 but how many burgers can you eat all week. I could even put Crystal Palace in it's place since the day I booked is on MNSSHP night and we might miss it. ADR's are alot of work aren't they.

I just thought I would let you know even though the burger isn't on the dinner menu at Sci Fi you can still order it for dinner. Our waitress told us that on our recent trip without us asking and it was already 8pm

Hey nichole, i just wanted to let you know that i just spentmost of the day reading your Poly trip report! It was AWESOME! You all looked too cute and I loved Thomas' face in some of the pics. It's funny the only time I have had a problem with parade seating is at DHS too! You have me dying to stay at the POLY! DH only wants to stay there next time (get another job buddy!) Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed it and loved your Jersey Girl perspective

Hi Diane, I haven't even looked at my trippie in a week. Thanks for reading about our October trip and for all your kind words. We love the Poly because the grounds are so pretty and thier pool is awesome and the restaurants. Housekeeping is not good though, which stinks when you are paying $370 ++ a night to stay there, luckily we had a small discount. Our Poly stay there in 2006 was much better. It really is alot of $$$, maybe if I sell a kidney we can go again . WL and AKL are a bit more affordable.

Thanks so much !! Yes I'm always honest, which causes me problems sometimes . Sad to say we had to cancel our cruise this year for a few reasons. We still are going to WDW though and meeting up with some friends while we are there. Thanks for keeping Thomas in your prayers . I will keep you posted.

Thanks for reading and glad you enjoyed my trippie . I was a bit scared of staying at Pop but it worked out great. My kids thought it was awesome. It was fine for a short trip and we would stay there again. The rooms were clean just a little small for a family of four.

Day 3, Part 2 Typhoon Lagoon

When left we were driving from HS to Typhoon Lagoon. It was so much quicker driving. I was looking forward to this waterpark since I have never been to it before, only Blizzard Beach and waterparks in NJ and TN. Well it was a beautiful, tropical well themed park. I packed a bag of clothes for us and we rented a locker and then changed.

Sadly our pictures turned out really blurry with the water camera. I wasn't sure if I should even bother posting them. But I will post a few anyway. I was bummed though because the kids had so much on the slides and you can't really see them good in the pics.

The first thing we did was check out the wave pool and find seats. Then the kids wanted to try out a slide thta is near the wave pool. After Thomas came down and went underwater (Tom was supposed to catch him at the end )I sent Tom to get him a lifevest.

Then we got on line for the Family raft ride. I was really looking forward to this and there was a short wait. Well I was very disspointed, it was short and not worth waiting for for IMO. the one at BB is so much better.

Tom and I took turns taking Kaylee over to the fun Storm slides while the other played at Tike's Peak with Thomas. He got bored with his dad at Tike's peak because Tom didn't realize there were a few more slides that they ride inn a tube down a kiddie size slope. So when I found these slides I couldn't get him off of them. I think he went down 100 times. When Tom and Kaylee got back from the big slides Kaylee of course tried the kiddie slide too since next year she will be too big as per the height requirement.
I took so many pictures of this but they are all blurry .

Next we took a long ride on the lazy river and I have to say I loved this lazy river better than any other waterpark. Kaylee lost her goggles but her daddy dove down and found them for her luckily.

We had alot of fun here and I plan on going to the waterparks again in October. I wanted to try out the giant waves in the wave pool. this is a pic of the wave pool but none of us are in it. In the bottom one you can see Kaylee standing though.

Thomas, Tom and Kaylee were suppossed to stay in a bit after were they break to be safe. Well Kaylee didn't listen because she is a swimmer (not as good as she thinks) and moved out over her head a bit. When the big wave came she tried to run in and got trampled and the concrete took a chunk out of the side of her foot. When I came out from the wave I could see her with Tom and know she had gotten hurt. So I ran and it didn't look bad at first. Tom decided to go try out the wave pool, can you say good timing Then I rinsed the sand off Kaylee's foot nad it looked nasty.
I took Kaylee and Thomas back to our chairs to get all our towels and crocs. Then I was walking with all our stuff and the kids looking for the first aid. When I noticed Kaylee was really white even her lips. I grabbed her as she was about to faint and carried her to a chair near the wave pool to make sure she was alright. I dropped half our stuff and had no idea where the first aid was since I couldn't see good with blurry dried out contacts. Thomas and I yelled like idiots for Tom to come in from the wave pool. Finally he did and he carried Kaylee to the First aid. The nurse cleaned Kaylee's foot, and gave her ointment and a large band aid. Quite a chunk of skin of missing but nothing that could be stitched or anything.

After this we decided to call it it a day and leave. I really wanted to try Crush N Gusher and the see the shark reef. but next time I will. We rinsed off and grabbed a snack. After the snack Kaylee's color was completely back. Then Tom went to get the car and pick us up out front so Kaylee didn't have to walk too far. Then we drove back to Pop to figure what we wanted to on our last evening.

OMG, the same exact thing happened to my son at the wave pool at TL. It was about 2 hours into our stay there and he ended up getting trampled by the wave and cut up both his feet. My hubby had to carry him to the chair while I got band aids and all that stuff. They really should have a warning about the rough floor in that pool!

Just catching up but wanted to comment:

we take the bedspreads off also...

I am so jealous of the princess pictures...we have never been in the princess rooms...with 3 boys they don't want to meet them :-( My youngest last year did only want to talk to wendy and Cinderella...he is quite the flirt so I am hoping this year I can talk him into meeting all the princesses so Mommy can meet them.

Thank you so much Sara for the hug and prayers, mean alot to me. Sunday we are having Thomas's family party. Hope it's warm enough for them to swim. Anyway I will certainly post on here and let you all know how everything goes next week. As long as my trip report stays open. Otherwise I will have to send out some PM's. Hope your girls trip planning is going well . I haven't been on the DIS that much lately only to read your trip report and a couple others. Just speding as much time with the kids as I can between all the end of the school year craziness.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes and for thinking of us. SO far we are all set for Wednesday and Thomas has stay overnight at childrens hospital then most likely we will be sometime Thurday. I'm hanging in there the best I can.

That is awful. I guess watershoes are a must at the waterparks. Kaylee's were just a little big so she decided not to wear them. Seems to be particularly bad in the Typhoon Lagoon wave pool.

Bedspreads they don't wash them between guests. Sorry your boys don't want to meet Princesses, well hopfully you can convinve the little one.. Thomas didn't want to meet this trip either. I think you should definately go get your pictures with them though . The line for Princesses is sometimes long, make sure to get in that line first.
