My Little Princess is Turning 8 trip report. Completed

I'm super late but still wanted to post. I've enjoyed reading your entire report! You're hilarious! I was glad to read that Thomas' surgery went so well. Can't wait to hear more about this next trip. WL looks awesome but it's a little too spendy for a family of 5. Bummer!

Thanks Nichole for a great report. I don't get over here on the TR board too often (just when I have a slow day at work) but I enjoyed reading everything.

Glad Thomas's surgery went well and it looks very positive If I had read this thread earlier in the month I would have been worrying the whole time for you guys, so I am glad everything is ok.

We will be in WDW the same time as you in October it looks like (from your ticker). We are DVC and staying at AKV. My DS is a little younger than Thomas but they could be twins with the way they act! And Kaylee sounds just like my one niece (who we are taking next year).

Let us know about the allergies. I started to get them this year. My nose is always itchy..lol

Hi and thanks for posting . I'm looking forward to our next trip now that things are looking up. WL is beautiful but it's still pricey but alot less than Poly. We may end up changing again who knows .

Thanks Snowbell . Thomas is doing wondeful and yes waiting was really hard. I'm glad the surgery is over but keeping Thomas from over doing it is sure tough too . I can't believe how quickly we got the report back. Sorry baout your allergies, thomas itches and rubs under his nose and by the sides of his mouth, very strange. I hope it's allergies, making and appt very soon.

We just got back from Disney and stayed at POFQ. We absolutely loved it!! It is so quite and my brother and I had an amazing time at the pool. If you stay there, you'll love it!!

My little guy (Brady) turned 2 in March but he is a BIG kid and pretty fearless. He LOVES the rides and goes on everything (he was doing the Barnstormer at 19 months!). We are hoping he hits 40" by October so he can do BTMR and Splash.

Yes we definitely should try to meet up some time that week!!!! PM me sometime and maybe we can find a time that is good! AKV is really nice, we stayed in a 1BR last October and are doing a 1BR again this trip. It is really nice! Although we stayed at WLV in January and I liked it a lot there too. I just love the boat ride to the MK.

Thanks for posting, glad you liked POFQ. We are booked at WL now and DH really wants us to stay there. If we need to stay at a moderate then it will most likely be CSR for us.

Wow your DS must have been pretty tall for a 19 month old! Thomas didn't ride barnstormer on his first trip when he was 2.5. We are looking forward to WL again this trip. Send me a PM when it gets closer to our trips and let me know your plans. Are you going to MNSSHP?

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a good summer so far. We just got back the kids new photos and I wanted to share a few with all of you. Thomas's is almost fully recovered . Kaylee just had her Dance recital last weekend. We are getting ready to go to NJ the first week of July. Also have been busy planning our October trip . I just switched resorts again to CSR this time to save a few $$$. I figured we would try a moderate this trip instead of Deluxe. Don't think I could take a full week in a value becuase of noise, crowds and room size, so CSR looks perfect. I plan to write a trip report when we get back. Here are the pics of the kids. Thanks again everyone for reading and your support .

Thanks. I got the shorts and Thomas's shirt at Old Navy and Kaylee shirt is from Gap.

Thanks so much . I can't wait to go home for a week and see if I really miss being in NJ or not. I do miss most things, except my inlaws annoying me . So far we are staying in Monmouth and Ocean County and also going to Staten Island for a few days. Would be fun to have a NJ/DIS meet though. How is your trip planning coming along for summer? Are you going to start a pretrip soon?

Thanks and I will let you know how everything turns out. I'm wondering if his allergies will keep acting up when we come to NJ . Knoxville is horrendous for Allergies and Thyroid issues/ cancer, much worse than NJ. Though many friends and family up north have been having problems with allergies lately so who knows. If he seems to be feeling better then we might have to look at a few houses while we visit . DH and I really don't know where we want to be at this point but NJ will always be home to us. How was Cape May ?
