My little guy is sick

Thanks for all the well wishes. Well, shortly after my last post I fell asleep and we both slept until 9am. He woke up and had some water and then fell back asleep. No throwing up though! Now let's just hope nobody else gets it.

DH left work early and is on his way home....I guess I'll only scratch one eye out. ;)

That's good to hear. :goodvibes :goodvibes Your hubby is a good man, now be gentle. ;) :teeth: :goodvibes

Poor little guy and poor mom too. I remember those days. Hopefully this is just one of those 24 hr. things. Dehydration is really a problem with this kind of thing especially as hot as it has been. Keep up the good work mom.

I know I know. He still has both his eyes! Geesh woman! ;)

Well, we're still vomit free. He's kept a waffle down and some dry Apple Jacks. He and his dad are sleeping :sad2: and I'm trying to fight taking a nap so I can sleep tonight. I knew when he asked for his Gameboy and started humming the Super Mario song he was feeling better. :teeth:

How scary! Thank goodness he is doing better. I hope no one else in the house gets it! DS had to be hospitalized for dehydration when he was an infant. The Dr told me the way to tell if he was dehydrated is to pinch the skin to see if it feels doughy. Also if they are crying with no tears, eyes are dry. When the kids are sick and throwing up I always try to get them to at least suck on an ice pop. I get so nervous about them dehyrating! Glad to hear your son is doing better.

Bless his heart, poor little guy. So glad to hear your little one is feeling better and has finally eaten and kept something down. Also that you both got some rest, know the toll it can take on Mommy too  . Nothing worse than worrying about our sick babies :worried:. Prayers for continued progress and a speedy recovery.

Our little 18mo GS was very sick last week with 104-105 fever and really has us worried. After 2 trips to the drs for strep test, etc., on day 4 he finally broke out in a rash and they determined it was Roseola. Thankfully he's is all better now and back to cheerful playful sweet self. :goodvibes
