I just published this article in which I interviewed various artists who work largely from their home studios. Tons of fun and some great insights. Included are:
• Multi-platinum producer Rob Cavallo. He signed Green Day, produced the band’s 20-million seller “Dookie” as well as juggernaut “American Idiot” and was chairman of Warner Bros. Records for several years. It was surreal when we called each other “Dude.”
• Trap and bass DJ Jessica Audiffred.
• No Doubt drummer Adrian Young.
• Guitar wizard and multi-Grammy winner Steve Vai and
• Hip hop producers Mosley.
