what is your favorite scrapbook magazine and why

I must say this is one area I was totally disappointed in! I ordered Creative keepsaking after I attended the QVC show. and I don't know maybe it is the magazine but everything looks to perfect. The people, the pictures the embellishments. Maybe we are just a bunch of ugly ducklings but I find it frustrating. Like it isn't scrapping the real people out there....
So I don't have a favorite

I used to like CK when I'd go to the library and look through it so I got a subscription. Now I wish I hadn't. I completely agree with Spinning. It's too foo-foo for me. I'm into much simpler styles.
I'm thinking that maybe Simple Scrapbooking would be better for me.

I like scrapbooks etc. I subscribed to it and I am quite happy with it. I think when you scrap like we do it is so hard to find new ideas. this book seems to explain how to do things for example one of the issues showed how to stitch letters. it was cool. I will keep getting it until I get bored with it. So far this is the only one I like :scratchin

I like Simple Scrapbooking the best because I love the styles. The ideas are simple and easy to do. I subscribe to CK and I use the layouts as a base idea but never go as far as they do in embellishments. I think, your pages would get too expensive if you scrapped all the time like CK. However, I do LOVE Becky Higgin's One Sketch, Many Looks. If you haven't tried it, you should. Her layouts can be as simple or fancy as you want them to be.

However, I have never looked at a Scrapbooks, Etc magazine. I did buy an Ivy Cottage the other day and it was okay.

Honestly, I don't think it matters what style you like to scrapbook because the most important thing you are doing is preserving a memory.

I get Memory Maker and CK
they are bolth good - but I always have a god aweful feeling inadequacy after looking through them.
I love seeing new ideas and new scrap supplies though.
So I guess I do not have a favorite magazine per say.

I do LOVE my Creative Companion Book and the Becky Higgins sketches - they give you ideas without actaul pictures so you can feel like you arent copying or not doingit right.

I love CK and MM . I finally picked up a SS magazine a few months ago , and finally got what my "style" is. I do like embellishing though so the ideas in CK intrique me , but right now the pocketbook isn't feeling it . ( if you know what I mean ).

I had a subscription to CK for 3 years and just let it expire because of the same above reasons. My scrapbooks are created out of pure love for my family to cherish for years to come - I hand journal, don't like to use a ruler, etc.
