I have searched the house & car for 2 days. I'm really afraid that I'm going to have to dig through the garbage.:sick:

I had the Sunday morning to drive home from church. That's the last time I remember having them. I didn't have pockets and I have emptied my purse 3 times. :headache:

that rots. i bet they'll show up somplace dumb...like the linen closet or something.

Did you look in the car? Under the seats? Between the seats? In the trunk?

In the garage? :confused3

I bet they will show up in the last place you look.;)

Did you run any errands on the way home from church. If you stopped at the store, perhaps you put the keys away with your purchase in the cupboard or in the fridge. Or maybe when you changed clothes you put the keys down in a dresser drawer or in your closet?

In college my roommate would accidentally leave the keys in the lock on the door...on the outside while she was inside!

My kids usually have mine -- they think they're being cute. But I've cursed them and they, too, will have children just like them. :rolleyes1

Are you sure you didn't have a jacket on? Do you have a bag for your Bible, etc.?

Best wishes.

I once managed to drop a set of keys into an open grocery bag. DH and I hunted for the gosh darn things for hours! Have you checked the inside of any containers you had with you?

I've done this before too!

did you check your front door?

hubby "lost" his keys for 2 days...

i found them in the lock on the front door. :rotfl:

good luck in finding your keys!

If you didn't need them to get in the house they might have dropped on the garage floor when you were getting out of the car. Check just under the car by the driver's door.

in your bedding? change your clothes when you got home from church and maybe laid them on the bed when you went to change?

Try to relax and think about exactly what you did when you arrived home after church. It may come to you in the middle of the night. Just be still and try to remember.

Once I lost my keys but I knew I had them somewhere at home since I drove my car home. I searched for hours and hours and even dug through the trash. Then on the 2nd night of looking, I was lying in bed just thinking through all of my steps when I pulled up in the car and still had my keys. I tried to relive it. Then it came to me! As I was walking towards the front door, I had noticed a large weed growing by the gate that leads into the backyard. It took two hands for me to pull that weed out. I had set my keys down by the gate to pull that weed!

So at 11:30pm I got up out of bed, grabbed a flashlight, went outside to the gate and there were my keys sitting on on the ground.

Had I not taken the time to relive that moment upon arriving home, it could have been months before I found those keys because we never use that gate.

Check the bathroom- if your anything like me, thats where everything lands, that or the kitchen counter or the dresser top!:rolleyes1

When my keys are missing, I usually find them sticking out of the computer (I have a flash drive on my keyring).

It really sucks when I do this at work and don't realize it until I've already walked the block up the steep hill to my car. :headache:

I lost mine once. I emptied my purse a million times. Was going crazy. Decided to search my purse one more time and found them.....somehow they had gotten into the lining of my purse, so when I took everything out I couldn't see them. Hope you find them. It's so frustrating!!!

Check:

The fridge/freezer
The shoes you wore to church (husband's keys landed in his shoes. He set them down on the couch and when he sat on the couch to take off his shoes, the keys slid into his shoe. Took us four hours to find them.)
Laundry and various pockets.
Any flat counter top.
Bathroom.
Couch cushions.
Under pillows.
Do you have a fishtank? I've left keys by mine when I walked in and fed them.

If I think of any other places, I'll let you know.

I lost my keys once, looked for them for a few days, even told the mailman (small town here) in case he saw any lost keys on our street--he brought me a set, but they weren't mine. DH "found" them. He was driving my car and went across railroad tracks probably too fast and he saw something fall from the top of the jeep. I had put them on top of the car when I got the baby out of the backseat and left them there.

Did you look on top of your car? Other than that, no suggestions that haven't been mentioned. I hope you find them!
