hi,here are my plans, for our upcoming oct trip.i would appreciate some comments, especially if,there are days, not suited to a particular park.we only have a 6 day base ticket, which we have already purchased.

fri 24th-land from san francisco at 6.30p.m.will just visit,my step son & family, who will already be there.

sat 25th-animal kingdom as we have an early start, the next day,so this is not such a late park.we are having breakfast at tusker house.

sun 26th-hot air balloon trip, hence the early start.then to down town disney,to the rainforest cafe, then to the movies,so the grandaughter, can see HSM3,which i believe,is released on the 24th,then nip to see fantasmic.

mon 27th-magic kingdom, with breakfast at crystal palace.staying for spectro & wishes

tues 28th-kennedy space centre, with hopefully a chilled evening.

wed 29th-epcot,staying for illuminations

thurs 30th-mgm.as i still call it.this may also be an earlier finish,if we have already caught fantasmic.

fri 31st-a chilled day,ready for MNSSHP,at 4p.m

sat 1st-another chilled day, ready for universals halloween night.

sun 2nd-lie in,after the late night.maybe a drive to daytona beach.

mon 3rd-down town disney,to disney quest,before setting off to the airport,at 3p.m.

how long, does it take to daytona beach? is this doable,or would i be better, using the 2nd,for a day off, possibly plan a photo shoot & take kiera to ASM,if this is possible,as she really wants, her photo taken, with the dalmatians.
want do you think?
thank-you
tracy

forgot to say,it is me,husband & 8 year old grandaughter travelling:)

i`ll post to this one as your deleting the outher one
Daytona think an hour from disney,
As for fisiting disney hotels just turn up no problems ,just tell guard at gate you would like to look at the resort and they ask for photo id( photo drivers licence )and hey presto your in
As a few of the disney hotels have resturants ect they love you to come in and look around
We took a few years before we tried to even look at a disney resort as we were scared to ask
Some of the hotels are attractions in there own right
Paulh

thanks paulh,
i am beginning to think,we should have missed out SF,trying to fit it all in,is a nightmare, but that is hubbies part,of the 14 nights.
wev'e got no chance,of fitting seaworld, discovery cove,or any waterparks in.
just wish,we could go for longer::yes::

Your itinary looks good to me, you seem to have all of disney covered and I love the Crystal Palace, we do it every year but usually lunch. I can really recommend ASM as we stayed there a couple of years ago and the dalmations are huge, your grandaughter will love them. Maybe you could fit in Daytona and ASM on the same day, as Paulh said it is only about van hours drive so you could do ASM for breakfast or dinner (although they only serve counter service) and fit in the photos too. The dalmation block is just to your right as you exit the main building.

thanks belle68!
i think, that will be an idea, call at ASM,on the way back, from daytona.that will keep, the two of them happy, which makes me happy:)
thanks again

Tracy the first thing that jumps out-26th ..."just nip to Fantasmic" that would be a whole day off your pass just for a 30 min show as you need park entry to go to it.
SD:thumbsup2

shooby doo,
i thought that would be ok,as we will only be using 4 days,so have 2 left over.i just thought it could shorten the DHS day,so we could catch up,on some chillin time.
the 6 day base, was the same as the 4 day base,so opted for that.
just looking at it,we could also catch illuminations, another time,as my stepsons children are 4 & 5,so we will have to consider them as well,in case the days are too long.
decisions decisions:)
thanks for the input,it helps making the final plans,*** i run it by hubby & he just says whatever!!!!
his whatever,cost him a £100 yesterday,as i asked him,if he fancied the universal halloween,& all i got was whatever.so i booked it,then he noticed the price:rotfl: maybe he will now,show an interest!!!!!!!!!

sharon, hubby isn't too keen on waterparks, although we loved discovery cove.
i'm beginning to realise 10 days,is just not long enough:(

If you didn't have enough time to go to Fantasmic on the Sunday, you could take the boat from DD to POFQ & go see Elliott Dyson. We stayed there last year & it was really relaxing to sit and have a drink while listening to Elliott, ds then 9 loved him as he involves the kids. Also, if you time it right you can get boat back & see MK's fireworks.

thanks for that suggestion sharon!
can you still get the boat, even if you are not, staying on site? as i am really clueless, about it:confused3
thanks again

Yes, it doesn't matter if you are staying on site or not. We ran out of time to go on the boat as it rained the night we planned it, It's suppose to be lovely & very relaxing, we are doing it this year.
