I am traveling to Phx on travel vouchers in January. When I made the reservations months ago I could only get the late flight that lands at 6:30 at night, I have to rent a car, and drive to Tucson. putting me in around 10 pm. I looked on the airlines website and noted they had a flight that lands at 1:45..I am not sure if that flight was there when I originally booked- but thought what the heck - I will call and check- yea! they had a seat in that class and I was able to book it. No fees since it is a travel voucher.
That should put me into Tucson around 5 - big difference - especially since the traffic between Phoenix and Tucson on Sunday night is horrific. Just needed to do the happy dance
