I planted cherry tomato seeds in a pot seven weeks ago, and put them on a huge, sunny windowsill in our building. They are now about a foot and a third tall, but I don't think the bamboo skewers I've been using to encourage them to climb are doing the job. What is the best thing to use to support cherry tomato plants?

P.S. we love them, they remind us that it is indeed possible for biological life to thrive in a dormitory. LOL

Dana with mine I have some old time tomato cages- similar to the picture below. Just drape the branches over the wire. I always use a firring strip or some strong piece of wood after they outgrow thier bamboo sticks to support the main trunk- fastened with twist ties like for sandwich bags, not to tight so as not to damage the trunk. :)
