I just bought my copy of the I-75 book. This book is going to be a godsent. I prob. already spent 4 hours reading it. For anyone that is doing the I-75 drive...this book is a must for you.... :moped:

This book has been the most valuable tool when we have driven to WDW. The first time we drove DD was 7 years old and had never liked long drives as well as being a picky eater. Just knowing what type of restaurant was up ahead as well as being able to point out landmarks made the drive go quicker. DS has irritable bowel syndrome and we always needed to know where the nearest facilities were in a hurry. I would never do the drive without the book.

This book is amazing...makes the time fly by. When I drive it's by the page not the mileage.

In the copy that I have, "Dave" the author wrote that he's putting out his new book in Sept on the Florida state line down. So it will tell us how to get to disney's doors. :Pinkbounc :cool1:

If anyone is interested in purchasing the 2005 edition please PM me. I used it in February and won't be going again for a long time so I might as well give someone else a deal.

We used this book when we drove down in August and thought it was great. The 'radar traps' indicated in the book were amazingly accurate.

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: you could of posted this information a few days ago....lol....instead of me shelling out 32.00 for it. Oh well.....lol....thanks anyway... :wave2:

I have used "Along the I-75" since it's first edition and bought an updated version every couple of years or so. Even though we know the route like the back of our hands, there's something satisfying in following along and knocking off the miles as I'd turn the pages.

We also found this book very useful. And I like the page by page thing rather than miles or km's. Good for kids to follow along.

I'm from Montreal and want to know where can I buy that book??

Thanks! :flower:

Chapters has it. That is where I got mine.
I have a 2002 edition. Is it likely to have changed too much for our trip in 2006?

The construction highlights will have changed as well as some of the restaurant/hotel and shopping listings. I found it worthwhile to buy the new copy but it depends how much you use it. I have it on my lap the entire trip (unless I'm driving or sleeping)

It is better to buy the later version, they had been renumbering their exit numbers, if you have the 2002 version, the exits numbers might not match up with the ones in the book.

I used the I-75 book along with getting the latest Trip-tik from CAA (this helps with the latest road repair reports). I also kept checking the I-75 online site just before leaving to get a real up-to-date road report and some info on the current gas prices on the way down.
