a wheelchair at WDW. We ordered one. Now Does he get to use the fast pass lane since his mobility and stamina are very in question? He wants to ride with the granddaughter who will soon be 5.

Most lines at Disney are mainstreamed, meaning wheelchairs and ECV can get through, so no, no fast pass line without getting a fast pass. You said you have ordered a wheelchair, is it a push chair or motorized or ECV. If it is a push type you may want to consider one of the others, Disney is a lot of walking/pushing.

It is an electric scooter. Couldn't chance him getting too tired. He can't walk very Far without getting out of breath. THanks

Some rides in Disney (mostly in MK and EPCOT as they are older than the other two) have alternative entrances to rides, but a lot of them now have mainstreamed queues, as HappyDznyCamper said. If the line is mainstreamed, you will follow the normal queue most or all of the way (in some cases you will be pulled off near the end of the queue to board in another area). With the alternative entrances, you will be directed by a CM through another entrance, in order to avoid steps, narrow pathways or in order to get you to the wheelchair boarding area (often the exit). These alternative entrances may not shorten your wait, and in many cases you will wait longer with a wheelchair than you would without. That said, most people who need a wheelchair could last longer sitting in it than attempting to walk through the line.

If he has fatigue issues, make sure you pace yourselves and don't try to over-do things. The First Aid rooms have beds that anyone can use if they need to lie down for a while.
