Is it more cost effective to do the DDP than OOP? Tried the DDP last time - ended up with unused credits (would do better job this time of keeping up with usage) Any other thoughts comments appreciated - Thanks !!

I would not do the DDP with you ADRs. You can do the math, but upon first glance, I believe it will be cheaper to go OOP. I assume you know the DDP will change for 2008...the appetizer and gratuity are no longer included.

Thanks for the tip - I did not know about the change. 'Tis OOP I suspect.

Since you are doing so many TS...have you looked into the deluxe plan. I am NOT a fan, but it might be very cost effective with 2-3 TS/day.

Regular DDP would not be worthwhile as you only get 1TS credit/day as well as 1 CS credit/day--and I only saw 2 CS on your list.

Now I don't know details of deluxe...it is 2 or 3 TS/day, and runs like $75-80/pp/day. So that would run you $300+/day for deluxe plan. But 3 TS/day could easily run you $300/day (plus you get 2 snacks/day, I think). It may be a wash cost-wise, but we sure enjoyed the freedom of ordering without looking at prices on DDP!!!

I see 5 buffet/family style meals, which run about $25/person. Breakfast would likely be cheaper, but normal TS would run more...again, seems a wash in cost. Personally I liked having it paid for ahead of time.

Cost-wise, it likely makes no difference.
