While standing in the line for Mission Space today, I was watching some of the "computer" monitors that show people on the ride. Low and behold, there was my grandson!
I watched it run through once, then noticed on the next monitor, there he was again, only this was a different tape!

On the first monitor, the screen is divided into 4 squares and he's in the upper left square. He's only sitting still in this one. On the second monitor, it's a full screen view. It shows him doing his space crew duties and then giving a thumbs up sign.

I grabbed my friend and said "That's my grandson! I just saw him!!" She thought I was nuts, since my grandson is back in Kentucky, not here at WDW. But, sure enough, when she watched the monitors, there he was.

Wow! My grandson is part of a WDW ride pre-show!

Cool, I am sure that you never expected that did you?

Wow:earseek: Your DGS is part of the magic:Pinkbounc As seldom as they update those video pieces he'll probably get to show that to his own children someday::yes::

I'm surprised they didn't have to get his parent's permission to use his face in a video clip.

Very cool though!

That's really great!:D Anybody who can be part of the magic that way is one lucky kid!:bounce:

That is very neat! I'll watch for him next time I experience Mission Space.

Actually, I think it is on the ticket media to get into the park that they have the right to photograph/tape anyone, and by using the ticket you agree to the release. That said, I would assume they did get a written release for anyone that is going to be put on public display. I seem to remember that my partner and I both had to sign a form when we got our picture taken for the Leave a Legacy display at Epcot...

While I don't see that on my ticket, I do remember seeing it at the park--that you give permission for your likeness or photograph to be used for promotional purposes.

But, no, we never signed a release or anything.

No matter how it got there, it was a thrill seeing it.

way cool sue!!!! i'll have to watch for him the next time i'm there!!!
