My Grandma died yesterday.

After 14 days without food or hydration, Grandma died peacefully at a wonderful hospice on Dec 23. She was surrounded by all of us: her son, daughter, 4 granddaughters, and 13 great grandchildren. She was 89.

While we are sad to lose her, we can find comfort in knowing that her end came according to her wishes and she is no longer grieving for my grandfather. We believe she is in a much better place.

Rest in peace, Grandma.
