This is a small find, but nevertheless, made me very happy! After spending almost 5 hours at my son's varisty/jr varisty football game today, my hubby stoped at the local Goodwill for me. I found a baggallini for $2; a new pair of Mickey Mouse flip flops (not a cheap pair, these were pretty thick sole and had a mickey head cut out on the strap) and a Gardening with Disney hardback book. All for $5! :thumbsup2 I have eyed buying a bagallini for awhile, but couldn't justify spending that much for another purse. Since my husband couldn't understand my excited I had to share it with my Dis-friends!:goodvibes

Great score!!! I love Goodwill and though we don't have one near us we have several similar stores in our area. My husband LOVES to scour them, his best find ever was just recently. We are trying to lose weight and get in better shape and decided to set up a home gym.... he found an eliptical machine for $5 - yup $5!!! These retail for 400-500 bucks!! :scared1: I've been on it almost every day since. :faint: I used to give him a hard time for how often he cruised his favorite stores but never again! :rotfl:

That is awesome. I found an old set of real wood lincoln logs for $3.50!!!!! I also found a jewelry box I have been wanting for $8.50. Very excited.

Great finds, OP!!! :thumbsup2

I stop into consignment and Goodwill shops often.

Today I found a Lands End light blue Oxford men's dress shirt for $6.00! It does not look like it had even been worn. Plus 3 men's ties by Brooks Bros that were a $1.00 each!

Many many times I find myself just walking out but then again there are days like today!

Someone's junk can be someone else's treasure!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Wow - I should go more often. On our camping trip this summer, we had some time to kill in Hudson, NY before a movie. We walked around the Goodwill and found some brand new ties for DH and DS, a couple of toys I hid away, that sort of thing...but the BEST find of that day was for DD. She is going to be Jessie (from "TOY STORY", of course) for Halloween. The costume we bought didn't come with boots so I said, we'll just figure something out.

Well, in that Goodwill store was a pair of honest-to-goodness etched leather cowgirl boots, one size bigger than hers...for $5! Yeah, we were all thrilled...she is wearing them for the first time tonight as we're going to a Jack O'Lantern display. Woot! :cool1:

DD and I did a Goodwill trip yesterday to a town a few miles away. While it wasn't my best trip ever, it was worth the gas money.

I got DS a pair of Nike Air in a size 13, DS a Polo Wool Sweater that was brand new, DD a cute visor for golf that still had the tags on it and wall stickers for DD. Its fun to look!

I totally forget about that place! I'm going to have to make a visit soon. We have two nearby.

I love the resale shops here, too! Last month I found a thick, pink terry robe with Classic Pooh and Piglet on it. It is the best robe I've ever owned and I only paid $1.50 for it! :thumbsup2

Wearing my Tinkerbell blue robe right now and it is so old it's getting threadbare, but it's hard to find them like this!

Enjoy your robe!

Wow! Great finds, everybody!! :yay:

I haven't been in a while....but I am going to stop in this week to check out my local goodwill and salvation army.

OP - great finds! So you like the baggalini? I love the bag itself and all the organizational compartments - but that cross-body strap sometimes drives me nuts!;)

I've never owned a bagallini, so that is why I am excited to try it for $2!! Love the thrift stores around here! :)

I never find much of anything at our goodwill but I have a consignment shop that I adore. Some of my best buys from there have been

A dress from Torrid which retailed for $65 for $10 and it looks like it was never worn.
A pair of Michael Korrs Jeans for $5
4 pairs of Fashion bug capris for $16

I am pooh sized (and losing weight) so to find this stuff for so cheap made me so happy.

Congratulations on the Great Finds! :thumbsup2

I shop my goodwill regularly. I am loaded with Disney shirts i have found there. I just love them! They put me in a good mood!:goodvibes

My best find was a Fort Wilderness hoodie. Actually my DD spotted it. I wanted one the last time we were there but wouldn't spend the $65 on it.

I was just there the other day and got a Pooh corduroy shirt and a Grumpy sweatshirt. :rotfl:

They're opening a new Goodwill store about 20 minutes away (we have one in another direction that I've been to several times). I think I'll try to go on opening day -- there was a 20% off coupon in the paper today. I never feel like I have time to really look -- I usually go when one of my sons needs something, but I ought to go when I just have time to hunt! Recently, though, some Disney watch collector must have gotten rid of their entire collection -- they had 8 or 9 Disney watches -- and I got a great one, in the original box (marked $80), and after the coupon discount, got it for $8 (plus a new battery). Recently, DS15 found just the right color flannel shirt for the part he has in the school play; DS19 found a floor lamp and glasses for his college apartment. Love shopping Goodwill!
