My girls and I are going on a rode trip....

Ok, we will start in Massachusetts, and head over to Niagara Falls for two days, then drive to Cedar Point, Ohio , for three more, then over to Chicago for two more nights...OK here is where I would love some suggestions....from Chicago we are heading back, and we plan on stopping in Cleavland, Ohio to see the Rock and Roll Hall of fame...Anyplace else between Cleavland and Massachusetts we shouldn't miss???


Ok, we are going to WDW, or anywhere south..from cleavland in the direction of home...so anyone have any ideas??


Am I totally crazy...three kids ages 7,7 ans 12 and myself on a road trip????

You can always stop by our house on your way back to Mass. You can even stay in our guest room. The girls could have a sleepover with Sarah too.

Just a word of advice about the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. If your girls are anything like my kids, they won't get much out of the experience. You might be better off going next door to the Great Lakes Science Museum. It's oriented more towards kids.

If you take a southern route back to Mass, you could stop off in Philadelphia.

You'll have a great time. I used to do road trips with the boys all the time. We have some great memories!! I loved doing that! I miss those trips.

I think it is a wonderful idea! You have some interesting places to visit. Be Brave! Be Bold! Take a big bottle of asprin for headaches...
btw I am doing a Road trip this summer,just me and ds16, dd13.........

The big question is will my or your kids still be "dear" by the end of the trip!

I got the ok, to do upto two weeks from DH!!! I guess he sees it as peace and quiet, and he knows I would get stir crazy and spend just as much or more taking them to things around here...

Sounds like fun. If you like Roller coaster Cedar point will be fun. Lots to do in Chicago, (stay down town if you can afford it). Shopping, Navy Pier, Museum of Science and industry. If you want to make a short detour north from Toledo you could check out Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn MI (just outside of Detroit). What ever you do have fun with your kids they are only young once.

If you are coming across I-90, Glo, the Finger Lakes region up here is a nice stop. Watkins Glen and Letchworth are lovely places to tour.

You know, we want to do a road trip.....all the best amusement parks in the country! Since you've started that way.....maybe continue!

On second thought......hmmm.....why not find a few nice lakes to lollygag around for a few days.....
