My gift card dillema update

I wound up getting the above pocket dragon & cookie jar with part of the gift card from my mom. (Remember, the one she demanded I NOT use for "practical things"). I could not pass this up.

Turns out that the $29.50 for this little dragon also included membership to the pocket dragon club for a year , so I get a cute pin (like the pin trading pins) of this little guy AND this large (functional) cookie jar that says "The Cookie Pirate was Here!" on the back. I thought the little pirate dragon was adorable, and when I found out he came with a "package" , I decided this was the "gift" for me.

I also got a Mickey antenna topper (which my BF has decided he likes).

The rest of the gift card is going towards some nice winter shoes I saw in a catalog. Cute, but practical.

The best of both worlds.

Cute! A friend of mine loves those little dragons. I bought her a few through the years and I've always enjoyed picking one out...they are all so cute!

Make some homemade cookies and when your mom comes to visit you, you can show her the jar and thank her with some cookies and milk.
