My Fur Baby is Sick...She's Gone :(

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a fur baby.

I am sorry for your loss.

Your Pets In Heaven

To have loved and then said farewell, is better than to have never loved at all.

For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head,
Fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you.
For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly.
For all of these things I am grateful and thankful.

I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND.

Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures. I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging.

We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever. You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique.

Don't hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are.

My baby is gone. :sad2: I am so heartbroken. She didn't even live to be a year old. After speaking with my vet (who happens to be a family friend and very trusted), we decided that it was best for Meeko to leave us. My girls are devastated. The worst part is that Pumpkin and Nala will ultimately face the same ending. We just don't know how long we have. I am just so very sad.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm so very sorry. The other two kitties likely have this disease too? How incredibly sad. :(

I am so sorry :(
I know the hurt your family is feeling right now.
Take the time to grieve and be kind to yourself.

I am very sorry

Oh, I'm so sorry! I've been where you are at and I know your heart is breaking right now.

As for the other cats in your household, are they showing signs of leukemia? As I mentioned earlier, I had 2 cats with this disease. However, I also had other cats in the house. I was scared that my other cats would come down with the leukemia but they never did. If your other cats have been vaccinated then there is a possibility that they will be okay.

Hugs to you and your family. :grouphug:

I'm very sorry about your Meeko. :grouphug: Hopefully your other kitties will be ok for a long time.

Well, we just finished burying precious Meeks. She is under the Bradford Pear right outside the window near my recliner and under my older daughter's room. She used to sit on the back of my chair and mew at the birds. She would sit in my daughter's window and watch the birds from there. She also slept with Carrielee every night. The spot seemed a fitting resting place for my baby.

Oh, and my mom called, and when she got home from work her 16 year old gray tabby had died. What a day.... :guilty:

I am so sorry for your loss. I know it must be terrible. It's amazing how little furbabies can become a part of your life. :sad1: :grouphug:
