My Friend Passed Away Last Night

I am SO sorry. I am dreading receiving the same phone call.

My best friend from college and ex-roommate was diagnosed with the really bad brain cancer about a year ago. She has been in treatment, but I was able to see her in June at her son's wedding.

I was maid of honor in her wedding and knew her husband long before they married too. We have remained close over the years. She has a wonderful husband and 2 great sons.

I wish I could trade places with her. I really would do it if I could. I lost my dad who I lived with and my dog in the past few months.

I'm so sorry. I lost DH a month ago to gastric cancer so I know how hard it is. I would like to recommend a website to her husband that someone sent me to after Bill's death. It's a lovely site for caregivers.
