We went for breakfast & we talked about our plans for the day. We decided we would do the laundry after breakfast & then go to Hollywood Studios for the day. While doing the laundry we relaxed by the Hippy Dippy Pool. I relaxed in a lounge chair while Louis talked to Jim on the phone about his trip. The washing & drying takes 30 minutes.
After we dropped off the laundry in our room, we took the bus to Hollywood Studios. We walked over to Star Tours which was a 10 minute wait at first. While we were in line, the cast member told everyone that the wait time went up to 30 minutes so we decided to leave. We went over to Muppets Vision 4D show. I love that show. After the show we decided to walk over to Al's Toy Barn. Al's Toy Barn is where you meet Buzz Lightyear, Woody & sometimes the others from Toy Story. I took a picture of a grocery cart that was a shape of a cow. It was cute. I decided to wait in line for some of the Toy Story characters so I could get a picture with them. I got a picture with one of the toy soldiers, Buzz Lightyear & Woody. At this time we decided to do the Backlot Tour. The Backlot Tour is a ride where you sit in a vehicle & they take you around the backlots of movie & TV sets. They also take you to my favorite, Catastrophe Canyon. Its part of the ride where you see pyrotechnics & a flood. The tracks also rock back & forth like youre in an Earthquake. Depending on where you are sitting, you will get wet. I took a video of this part because I missed it in December. After getting off the ride we decided to take a walk on Streets Of America in New York & San Francisco. Keep in mind that these are just backdrops, not the real city. I took a few pictures. I even got a few of me Singing In The Rain. Its a prop with an umbrella & real water. We sat over by the ABC Commissary for a bit & while sitting there I spotted a squirrel. I went over to it & got up close. It didn't even run so I got a picture of it.
We had dinner reservations at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Since we were early we decided to take our time getting over there. On the way there we ran into three funny guys doing their comedy routine on the street. We watched them for awhile & they were funny. After they were done, we walked over to the restaurant. This is the restaurant where they treat you like family & if you break a rule, they will tell you so. It's a fun place to eat. Our waitress's name was Cousin Monica. I got in trouble for having my elbows on the table & Louis got in trouble for not having a napkin in his lap & tattelling on me. I ate my delicious meal of Fried Chicken & mashed potatoes but I didn't eat my greens. She asked me if I was going to eat them & I jokingly told her No because I was allergic to green vegetables. She gave me a stern look & said There Is No Way I'm going to get you to eat those but since it's your birthday I will let it go this time. She came out with a cupcake & had the whole restaurant sing Happy Birthday to me. It was a lot of fun.
