I love it...DH and i do that all the time. He has certain lines he uses on me and the minute I use it on him, the first words out of his mouth are "That's my line, you can't use my line on me!" I love that someone else does that!

Great installment! We have ressies are Crystal Palace when we go in October. Its the first time we've done a character breakfast and i've been so excited, after reading this, i am even more excited to go!!!!!!

MPh is a wonderful, WONDERFUL show. I love all the smells and I wish that they sold them all along with the Soarin smells in a bottled set so I could spray them at home and remind me of Disney!!

Oh, I know! I'd pay whatever they want to charge for Soarin' and Philharmagic scented candles! How could Disney not offer such a sure-fire piece of merchandise?

My son must be jaded, because he was the one teasing Piglet about bacon. Piglet hid behind DH before noticing his plate piled with sausage, then pretended to scurry off in terror. It was one of the cutest character moments I've ever seen, and he must get a lot of it to play it up so well.

I chose the french braid as my do of the day, so Rig had some work to do before we left.

Since you started your story, DW has been trying to get me to do this. I can do a regular braid. Don't tell anyone though. I gotta keep my manly man rep up you know. One of these days I might try to learn.

Gotta agree with Rig here. The shy quiet ones are usually the worst ones. They're the masterminds behind it all. Tigger, Pooh and Eeyore are some big boys. The enforcers. Piglet may not be as innocent as he looks.

And Piglet immediately grabbed the hubs' baseball cap, threw it on the floor and stomped on it. Serves him right!!!

I have to watch Philharmagic a couple times before I can see it without tears in my eyes. The first couple times it is too cloudy though the tears to see it clearly.

actually, lee, I think I changed the closed cartioning, not the audio.. which wouldn't matter to most people, but hubby uses the CC quite a bit (not as much since he got the hearing aids, but it still helps).
I believe he figured it out the next day! (hmm, that might be a good way to learn spanish!)

I had to laugh at this, my oldest and youngest love anime and often play videos in Japanese with English subtitles.

I picked up this thread from your TUG post. I don't know if all 300 who viewed the post there came over, but I know I've now passed this on to a few more readers. The following keeps growing... Thanks for the hollerout Mosca!

Love the story so far, and I choose to believe it's all true at the core. Lee you are a great writer, and have us all waiting for each installment. If this were made up, I'm pretty sure that the story climax wouldn't have happened on Day 3. Perhaps it is a bit embellished, but that just makes the story all the more readable! Keep it up please!!

Been over a week since we've had an update. Hope everything is alright.

I managed to get Rig to ride Cinderellas Carousel again. He didn't bellyache over it this time either. I'd like to say he just manned up but the truth is we had to fanagle some deals. Rig did get the better deal out of it. At some point in the day I was going to have to ride Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain, plus a few dark rides...just because! I let him think that the dark rides were part of his deal, but I liked the dark rides just as much as he did. There was no twisting my arm there.

We decided to give Stitch's great escape a try. We stood outside of the big gray doors, the crowd piling up behind us. A momma and her little boy, I'm guessing 4 or 5 years old, gorgeous blonde curls were next to us. The little boy kept eyeing Rig. He would tug at his Mommas shorts and then whisper something to her when she bent down. She would whisper back and then smile at me or Rig. Finally she tapped Rig on the shoulder.

"My son wants to tell you something."

Rig crouched down to the little boys level. "What's on your mind buddy?"

The boy looked to his Momma again and she gave him a reassuring nod.

"I want to tell you a funny joke."

"Alright, lay it on me." Rig smiled

"What did the cowboy say when he lost his horse?"

Rig thought for a few seconds, "I have no idea. What did the cowboy say?"

"Where's my horse?"

Rig threw his head back and laughed. "That is some funny stuff there. And you know what? Everytime I lose my horse that is exactly what I say."

The little boys eyes lit up. "You have a horse? What's it's name?"

"Smitty"

"I rode a horse once, a real one."

"Did you ride on Cinderellas carousel?"

The little boy made a face. "No, that's for girls."

his mom and I both laughed. Rig gave me blank stare.

The doors opened up and we all went in to a TV viewing area and got the low down on being recruited.

Then we all headed into another area and watched that poor robot get humiliated. He oiled himself in public.!

And finally we got to take our seats in the big round room. The chairs and harnesses were intimidating to see. The only other ride I had seen so far with over the shoulder restraints was RocknRoller coaster. But I kept my mouth shut and my fear to myself. There were alot of kids on this ride and I didn't want to look too much like a chicken.

We were in the first row. To say this ride was a huge let down in every area would be the biggest understatement of all times. I'm glad that I wasn't tossed around or dumped upside down, but why the restraints?
I do have a sense of humor but I lost it on Stitch's great escape. Being spit on, I assumed that is what is was supposed to be, I got hit in the face with something juicy, and then a nasty burp in my face, smoke inhalation and just sitting there in the dark awaiting the next gross thing wasn't thrilling to me.

I also wondered if naming it Stitch's Great escape was because Stitch escaped or because the audience wanted to escape? Hence the restraints then?

Once it was over I was ready to get out of there, I left Rig behind and thought we would just meet up outside, but I couldn't find him. I know when you get lost in the woods your supposed to hug a tree? what do you hug when your lost at Disneyworld?

Rig sent me a text. "What did the cowboy say when he lost his wife?"

"Where's my wife?" I texted back

He texted me "Exactly!"

"I'm infront of the Buzz ride."

We met up there and got in line for the ride. We discussed being punked by Disney, the Stitch ride, if it can even be called that was Disney's joke on us.
"babylee I am all for the dark rides, but Disney punked me by restraining me from my girl."

The line for Buzz lightyear was awesome cool and it moved at a decent speed. We were on it it less than 20 minutes. This was a video game ride. I am good at video games, but not aiming and shooting games. So I kept the car spinning and turning with the joystick, I knew it was wrong to mess with Rigs shooting game, but dang it, he is so competitive and would have rubbed his score in my face, so I had no other choice but to take evasive action.

"Cheaters never prosper, Babylee."

I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Is that an invitation?" Rig asked winking at me.

I turned red and giggled. It was not an invitation, it was just me being bratty but leave it to Rig to take it somewhere else.

When we were done witht he ride we had to look at our ride picture, we didn't know they would be taking one, so in the picture it looks like we are in a deep conversation.

We rode space mountain next. I fared a little better this time. I knew what to expect. I still screamed, don't get me wrong, but I didn't once feel like I was going to die.

Something just came up I have to go, I will be back tonight or tomorrow.)

OOOOOO I am so glad to hear more! This is the one I always come back too! My whole family is from a really small town in Texas called Tenaha... I have realtives Buddy, Bubba, Brack, Rebel, and that is just getting started. But I feel like I am reading a southern accent and it makes me think of family!!
