I have just finally caught up on your trip report and must say I am enjoying every minute of it.

My family were at PoP last year at the same time as the 2 of you. We can not remember running into a cowboy but we are going to have to check our pictures.

too bad rig won't wear a swim suit. it's fun to "swim" together, cuddle in the water. and the water slides are fun! the lazy river, the family slide at Blizzard beach. maybe you can eventually convince him that it's still "cool" to wear a swim suit.
sound like you had fun at your evening at Epcot. for future trips, tho, do try to be nearer the lagoon, so you can see the whole show. it really isn't an "in the air" fireworks show.
the way you felt at CHristmas wishes, this is how my hubby feels about the music for illuminations.. he always tears up! (such a softie!)

Maybe we;ll start a new "routine" of asking each other "what was your favortie part of the day?" I REALLY like that!!! . we have one, but it only happens at the beginning and end of the trip. we usually drive, so we hold hands and pray for a safe trip, and then Nebo HAS to say "we're OFF!"

okay just how does one change the "text settings" to french?? Last I checked, the french still use the same LETTERS as us. So if you were typing letters on your keypad, they should have come up the same, no? Or you have T-9 and it was changing the words??

What kind of phone do you have?? I'm soooo confused now.

Lee, I leave for Disney in 2 weeks and am so excited, I stumbled upon your trip report, while trying to find suggestions for restaurants etc...I am soo hoooked!! oh, and I am not sure if anyone has said this yet, but you asked who we think you guys look like, and I swear to you from the second i started reading this (2 hours ago by the way) ;o) the picture in my head of Rig, is LANE from Big Brother...since paragraph one that is how I imagine him....and I guess that is why I picture you as Brittany (even though you have said you aren't blonde). Anyway now I have to figure out how to subscribe (unless you are done writing, I am only on page 22 (Dinner with Truck & Tonya).

Nice update. DH and I (and out kids) are park commandos, so we would probably be better with Jenny & Grant than you and Rig. Different strokes for different folks is part of why Disney is so great. During our Christmas trip we were give a free fireworks cruise from a CM on the Boardwalk. Now that is how you watch Illuminations.

Slow and easy is perfect for us.
I bewt Illuminations was grand from a cruise. That's great it was given to you.

Love it!! Changing my phone settings is something my DH would do to me...just to get me to stop texting all the time!

I wanted to give props too!
So.... Props for the great report and for bringing some reading happiness to the Dis.
Also, props for having a good sense of humor. And props for looking at the happy side of life (and ignoring things that are not so happy).

Thanks for the props, I need all the props I can get, I am so far behind in the count, my million props I gave to myself apprently do not count.

Great update.. Its funny my DH and I will sit and make up stories about random peoples lives too. We do the conversation thing too.. We were actually at a convenient store doing it the other night and realized we sat there in the car for like 10 minutes.. then felt stupid that the only reason we sat there for so long was because we were making 2 young boys (who looked like Ken dolls) talk about their plans for the night..

Thanks for the great update.. every time I read your TR I get more and more excited for our trip to WDW in 3 weeks!!

Ever since the episode of big brother I do that now too. But I haven't sat in a car not going anywhere for 10 minutes because of it.

I must admit I have been reading this trip report from the beginning (skipping all of the naysayer comments) and I am truly enamored with your story! I don't normally post my thoughts or opinions on trip reports, but this one is too wonderful to not.

You have a writing ability like I haven't seen in quite some time and the way you tell your story is truly captivating!

I am so very glad you did not stop writing due to all of the negative comments because I feel like we all would have truly missed out!

Wow! I just found your trip report and am joinng in! I love to read and your first 8 pages have definitely lured me in! I started a book yesterday morning and finished it already this afternoon! You are an amazing writer...You seriously should do this for a living. I love to hear how others get so emotional when they are at WDW because I do too.
Can't wait to read more but tomorrow is the first day of school and I still need to get things sorted for the kids.

Disney world brings out the emotions in me, I can still get teary eyed when thinking back to the castle lighting.

December is such a great time to go to Disney World. If you find a cowboy picture let me know.

Asking about the best art of the day is a great way to end the day, happy thoughts to fall asleep to.

It changed the whole word. Like you said T-9 and the french setting. You type one word and something totally different shows up.

I like Lane, and I think he and Brittany would make a cute couple. But Rig isn't Beefy like Lane. But hey go ahead and imagine us to look that way, I have no complaints about that.
