My First Trip Home to SSR, the pain & obstacle in getting there! Complete TR w/Pics!

Great report - looking forward to reading the rest!

I cannot believe you missed your flight, one of my biggest fears!

Hey I'm first (I think)! I can't believe that I missed this report! But you know what? Being late means I get to read a bunch at once!

So cool to finally see what you look like. Now I know who to look for at MGM on Sept 13th by TOT!

Ok, how did you get so many pics of yourself? Did you just ask people passing by? I figured that I wouldnt get any pics going solo in Sept.

Glad you mentioned visiting other resorts. That's something I dont really do. I may have to visit one next trip.

See ya next time!

it is a nice downtime activity that I add occasionally...

Loving all the pics in your TR!! Great job! :cool1:

thanks for the support... and glad your enjoying it!

I am so enjoying your Trip Report. The pictures are great! Keep it coming.

hope you wont get bored.. thats all I have are pics ;)

A fellow Philadelphian? Your story about the airport is the exact reason I got the earliest flight I could for our August Trip. I have a 3.5 yr old and I can just see getting stuck with him for that long on the airport:scared1:

Looking forward to morepopcorn::

hiya neighbor!! where abouts.. I am about 15 minutes south if PHL and 15 minutes north of Delaware border :thumbsup2 equals Delaware county area!

Ok… I hope am not boring anybody… but the 16th of April and the rest of my vaca was centered on eating, sleeping, sipping (drinking sound so harsh) and a lot of resting. After that fun trip at CSR went back to SSR to kill some time before my ADR at Boma. And yes proudly I can say I fell asleep … like a baby. The alarm went off at around 5:00PM and got ready for Boma and DSIS finally got in to join me for dinner! I don’t have a lot of picture for AKL since we have been going there and have a lot of pictures in the previous trip. As always I have to have dessert 1st before anything else. Gotta have the Zebra domes every time you go to the buffet line.

(the pic is a bit noisey I tried to use the cell phone camera :confused3 )

Excuse my plate but am not good at making it look nice and I always get little portion just in case it might not be as good as the last time then I really don’t have to force myself to finish a whole lot. Here I have my fave Zebra domes again with corn and potato wedges, curry rice, carrot pineapple salad… delish! And mango salmon

Went back for the chicken, more salmon, peanut rice, banana pudding with a nice thick vanilla sauce and hmm another type of dessert…

And of course the Seafood Stew!

We were lucky to have Mr Steve as our host again. He was our CM/Host last Sept. 06 during my DSIS bday. And he remembered us it was a great feeling!!! He was a bit under the weather but was cheery when chatting with us! Love Love Love Mr. Steve!

When we ask our bill he was wondering if we ordered a cake again just like the last time and we explained since it was just me and dsis we opt to skip the regular size cake. He then left to get our bill and I had to go pee! By the time I got back this is what I have on the table waiting for me!!!

Love everything on it, the truffles were devine and the cookies… well dsis ate most of it and the gummi bears… well I had to much sweet that I just took pics for souvies !

And as a tradition… we always take a picture of the crayons.. I don’t know why but it was a habit we developed. If you have read my previous trippie… last Sept it was red crayons and last April 06 were blue and yellow… and this are the April 07 crayons… tada!!!!:dance3:

And to conclude this visit went to check the overlook and got 2 poses from the neighbors!

Excellent pictures, excellent reports, and does Tinkerbell send postcards?:thumbsup2

Can't wait to experience Bomas again (must do that 5 mile jog beforehand!!:lmao: )

Great trip report! Can I ask, what is the deal with the brown rice??

OK.. about the brown rice... after a series of car accidents I had develop aches and pains all over my body that consist of muscles and joints... and then I met my present chiropractor and suggested I try her regimen... give up WHITE it was crazy coz I eat alot of rice and pasta and anything white... after 2 years of giving up rice and just occasionally giving in to my cravings for basmati whote rice the pain had lessen it has something to do with my digestive system/metabolism... and since brown rice is still not available at any TS or CS at WDW I bring my brown rice :)

April 17,2007

Ok now our day at EPCOT and the Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival. We tried so hard to get there 1st thing in the morning but again that plan and hope failed. We were able to leave SSR around 10:00AM freshly showered armed with coffee and brown rice!

At the entrance!
