We just got back from Disneyworld. It was our daughter's first trip. She is almost 2. I know she won't remember it. I decided to make a Shutterfly book for her filled with pictures and stories about what we did on each day. Shutterfly has cute Disney themed pages too. I hadn't really thought about doing this before, so I thought I should mention it to give others the same idea maybe. I can't wait to get it!! It will be a fun way to show the other relatives pictures from the trip too.

I did this as well after our last trip (my kids' first trip) - mostly so I wouldn't forget so much! We had MM and a TON of pictures. I set the book up chronologically and did a lot of journaling in the text. It turned out amazing - I am so hooked on photo books now. Shutterfly's Disney themed stuff is pretty cute, and it is really easy to supplement with other designs.

It was such a fun way to help with the post trip blues too. I might consider doing one for each trip in the future. I wrote up lots of text too so I can read it to her kinda like a book. I can't wait to to it in the mail.

That's such a good idea! I do photo books of my daughter every year and will definitely being doing one for our Disney trip. She will be 2.5 at the time of our trip so she probably won't remember a lot.

That's a great idea. I think my daughter would love it. Normally we just take pics on our phone and they sit on the computer for an eternity. You can find really good deals on photo books especially around the holidays.

I do this for every one of our trips and it's awesome! My husband and I love being able to look back on each trip, and I'm sure my daughter will someday too. She already loves looking at the one from her first trip, to the point where I had to hide it because she wanted to look at it incessantly and I was afraid she'd rip the pages! She's only two. I also make photo "yearbooks" in January to have all of our highlights and adventures from the previous year printed and easy to look back on. If you sign up for Shutterfly's emails you get coupon codes and/or alerted to sales to make it more affordable. And I can't tell you how much I prefer their layout program to Snapfish's! It's so much easier to use.
