My First TR: JesJav's graduation & Ben's B-day Trip....with LiLo obviously

The Cast:
LiLo(Me): I'm 23 and a college student. I love Disney (but who here doesn't?) and this was my 7th trip to the World. It suppose to be my last until my honeymoon cuz I have to save money but that's what I said last year's trip.

JesJav(DBF): He's 23 also and he graduated yesterday! This trip was to celebrate his college graduation. He also loves Disney and this was his 3rd trip. He used to say that Disney was for kids obviously before he went for the 1st time to celebrate my 21 bday in 2006. Now he loves it and says to everyone that Disney isn't only for kids.

Ben(DBF's brother): He's 30 and a biology teacher. This trip was a bday present from us since it was his first trip to WDW. He was always complaining that everyone had go to Disney but him so I convinced DBF to take him with us cuz I want him to experience the magic.

The when and where:

We left on May 28 and came back June 2.
Last year was our first time staying on site at Pop Century and we LOVED it so this time we stayed there again.

I'm sorry it took me so long to start...Ok here goes...

The guys went to sleep at 11pm the night before but I was to anxious to sleep so I finally fell asleep at 12:30am. The alarm went off at 3am; I got up and took a shower, then waked up the guys so they could get ready. After I was ready I waked up my sister because she was going to drop us to the airport.

We arrived at the airport at 4:45am, did everything needed and finished at 5:30am and our flight was at 8am. I know we were early at the airport (the guys complained about it a lot) but my parents told me that it’s better to be early than to be late because if something happens we have time to do something about it. After finishing everything we were starving so we went to Subway to eat some breakfast. After that all we had to do was wait. At 7:50am we were boarding our flight and at 8:15am we were off to Orlando. The movie on the plane was National Treasure: Book of Secrets, a Disney movie!!! “We’re starting good”…

2 hours and 25 minutes later:
We’re in Orlando!!! We got off the plane and went directly to the Magical Express counter, passed the red carpet and waited for the bus to arrive. We only waited like 15min and we were on our way to the bus. I was a little sad and JesJav was disappointed because our bus didn’t said Magical Express, was a yellow Mears and we really wanted a blue Magical Express for Ben to feel the magic right away.

Anyways, after 30mins we were at Pop Century!

We checked in and guess what…our room was ready! And was really close. We were at the 60’s building near the blue YO-YO.

We got to the room, left our carry-on and left for Hollywood Studios. But before leaving we went to Everything Pop to get some lunch. I got chicken strips and the guys got double cheeseburgers. Now we were ready for the parks!

We got a set of Fast Passes for Tower of Terror and went to Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster with a 40min wait in the stand by line. I think this was the longest line we did on the trip.

JesJav and I loved it as always but Ben didn’t, he said it was too strong for him.

I had to split it up because of the pics…

After that we got a set of Fast Passes for JesJav and I for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and went to use the set for Tower of Terror.

We got out of Tower of Terror and it was almost time for the 4pm show of Indiana Jones so we went that way. I always like Indy but I think I’ve never seen it so packed. I think it was because of the new movie everyone wanted to see the show.

After Indy we went to Star Tours with only a 5min wait and then Muppet Vision 3D with no wait at all! Ben really liked Muppet, it was a good combination for him because he likes The Muppets and had never seen a 3D movie like that. When we finished Muppet we were really tired and it was only 6:30pm so we decided to go to the hotel to rest a little and come back to catch the 10:30pm Fantasmic!

We got to the hotel and guess what…we didn’t slept at all. We rested a little and we got hungry again so we went to Everything Pop and order a large pizza. It was good but big for the 3 of us.

After eating we went back to the park.

It was only 8:15pm when we got there so we had time to use our Fast Passes for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and get a seat for the 9pm Fantasmic! So that’s what we did and we got a good spot for Fantasmic! by 8:45pm.

Fantasmic! was great as always and Ben LOVED it (and who doesn’t).

My favorite part... The Princesses

After I really wanted to ride Tower of Terror at night but we were still tired and we really wanted to get up early the next day for Rope Drop at Animal Kingdom so we went back to the hotel and finally went to sleep.

Day 2 Part 1

The plan was to get up by 6:45am so that we could all be ready by 7:30am to go get some breakfast and be at the park by at least 8:45am but that didn’t worked. We all got up and ready by 8:30am so we ate breakfast and got to the park by 9:30am

At Animal Kingdom we went first to Expedition Everest got a set of Fast Passes first and went to the stand by line with a 5min wait.

We all liked EE.

We were supposed to meet Ben’s girlfriend at 10:30am for the Festival of The Lion King so we went that way. On the way there we passed It’s Tough To Be A Bug and had no wait so we went in cuz it was still early. We really liked it but I honestly have to say that they shouldn’t let small kids in…I think it’s too scary for them.

We got to Camp Minnie Mickey, met up with Ben’s girlfriend and saw Festival of The Lion King. JesJav and I LOVE FoLK, we think it’s one of the best things at Animal Kingdom but were surprised that Ben wasn’t impressed by it. He said it was fine and that it was for kids. Well, not everyone feels like a kid again in Disney. But no one can say I didn’t try!

After FoLK we thought that Ben’s girlfriend was gonna spend the rest of the day with us (cuz that was the original plan) but her family had other plans and she went with them. We planed to meet again the next day at MK but you’ll see haw that went.

We went to get FPs for KS and to get a frozen lemonade, JesJav and I love them. We finished our lemonades on our way to KRR. Ben was dying to go on this one since he saw the DVD. So we went on the stand by line with a 10min wait. We loved it and go wet, especially me. When we got out we got FPs cuz the guys wanted to ride it again later.

After KRR we went to Dinoland. On our way there we found “DiVine”. She so beautiful and amazing.

At Dinoland I really wanted to ride PW but the guys didn’t and I didn’t want to ride alone so we went to Dinosaur. I don’t like this one cuz it’s to dark and the dinosaurs look so real…but I don’t hate it tough.

Ben really liked it

After Dinosaur we went to use our FPs at KS. We didn’t saw all the animals but it was still cool and Ben really liked it. Then we went to KRR with the FPs and this time we all got soaked. We went to the bathroom to see if we could get a little dry to go to EE with our last FPs.

I don’t know if you can see how wet are they…

After EE we really needed a break and were finished with all we wanted to see at AK so we went back to the hotel to get something to eat and get some rest.

Next Epcot…stay tune!

After a good 3 hours sleep we took a shower and headed to Epcot for IllumiNations and EMH.

At Epcot we got our wristbands and went to world showcase. We went on the Three Caballeros with no wait. The ride it’s really cool. We walked our way to Japan making stops on every country.

At Japan it was time to get spots for the fireworks. I took a spot and the guys went to the store on Japan the we all saw IllumiNations.

IllumiNations was beautiful as always and Ben loved it. He was really grateful for the trip and all the magic. After the fireworks we walked our way to MS. We first tried the green version cuz didn’t know how Ben was gonna react to it. To our surprise he really liked it and wanted to try the orange version. I have to admit that the orange version always got me a little dizzy but still liked it and the guys liked it to. After MS we got something to eat at The Electric Umbrella. While eating we decided to go on SE and back to the hotel cuz I really wanted to do RD at MK the next day. We really liked the new SE it’s really cool. After the ride we spend some a while playing and then went back to the hotel. I put on all the alarms for the next day and made sure that were on, took a shower and went to sleep.
