Me and my sister, Nooshkin on the boards, decided a while ago to go to Disney for my 35th birthday in June a while ago. I had always wanted to stay at the Poly so we decided that that is where we were going to stay this time.

We are leaving in a couple of days and I am quite excited! Normally when something big is coming up like a trip or birthday I'm all "Dum de dum...HOLY CANNOLI!

I haven't done much yet but I know exactly what I need to do before we go. I know what I have to do and what days I can do them. I know what I am packing and making a mental list of clothes I have to bring. I know you're probably thinking "Yeah you know you know you know - have you done a frakkin' thing yet?" Well maybe not but me thinking about what I have to do is a lot for me!
I already ordered my zazzle.com shirts and they came today! At least UPS tried to deliver them but no one was home at the time. (My only complaint about zazzle - they aren't clear on who does the shipping when you place the order. Otherwise I would have picked the regular mail!) They are 2 custome made Disney shirts. One if of Eve from Wall-E with "PLANT!" underneath her and the other is Guido from Cars with "Pit Stop" underneath him. I've gotten shirts from there before but not until last year with my Edna from the Incredibles shirt with "No Capes!" under her have I gotten any comments from people. Plus I have my Dis boards shirt I got when they read one of my emails. I know people write in their pre-trip reports about special get togethers or parties or little gifts for their familes. I'm dorkier. I talk about t-shirts!
Now another thing I did, I actually got done a while ago. Now everyone who knows me knows I just ADORE Eeyore.

A little backstory if you please. Everyone in my family has tattoos. Not A tattoo- several in fact. And I was always the one who said "I'm never gonna get one done!" Well I got to thinking "A small one wouldn't be bad." but it had to be something I REALLY REALLY wanted and something I loved. Well here is the conversation I had with myself over my possible tattoo (I talk to myself a lot if you must know since I am the only one who understands me!):
Me1: What about Eeyore? You LUUUUVVV him!

Metoo: He's the best! But I don't want to do just Eeyore! That's kinda boring! Besides you just KNOW someone else has him tattooed on their person.
Me1: Well what kind of Eeyore would you do? And plus where would you get it done?
Metoo: How about just his tail? It's small so the pain wouldn't be so bad. I'd get it done on my forearm so it's easy to see.
Me1: Why there? Why not somewhere only you could see it?
Metoo: Well I'd kinda like to show it off. Besides I am so not going to put it someplace I have to take clothing off to get done or for people to see! Yuck!

Me1: That works!

So a couple of months later my younger sister took me to the place where her and her husband have gone lately to get their tattoos done. And I have to say they were fantastic! Very nice, clean and friendly. And very well done too! It did hurt but not as bad as I thought it would. What was weird was that the tattooing actually made my left side shiver as if I was cold. Maybe if people ask nicely I'll have Nooshkin help me to post some pictures of it. P.S. They say tattooos are addicting and I think they're right! I already have an idea of another one I want to do! Maybe it won't take so long for me to decide to do it or not.

So sorry this pre-trip report is short but it is what I have done so far and I just wanted to get it out of my system and down on the boards just for the heck of it. Hopefully I'll have more to post later this week but we'll see if I can get out of the bear trap and get my head on again before the wolf makes a chicken fillet out of me.
